I know they are busy this time of year but try asking them to scan the shelf tag to see if there are any in the back or on the way.
That is what I had to do for Buzz Off/Jitsu. Scan that tag that says MOTU Variety. My store also has a separate tag for He-Man & Skeletor (they were both on the same peg). To avoid confution, take any He-Man or Skeletors off the MOTU Variety peg if they were there. Leave it as an empty peg before you have them scan it. My store had a Skeletor on it since the HM/Skel peg was filled with He-Men.
My BBTS Pile of Loot has arrived and I found the latest at Target this afternoon. It is TORTURE keeping that hidden until Christmas for the kids.
A good looking figure and a neat idea but the execution is not great. The mechanical arm doesn't fit in the regular body too well and the vest makes the loops useless.
For those lucky enough to find the master of the wwe figures recently, to they still have their own marked peg, or are they just placed randomly in the toy aisle?
My local Walmart still has 2 pegs (that employees just slap whatever on) labeled for MotWWEU but marked down to $13. Brickseek says they have 6+ for weeks but never anything there. Assuming they are still in the shipping containers they have littering the parking lot.
On another subject, has anyone else found that some of their Wal-Marts seem to have taken out spots for Origins entirely, and only have spots for figures from the CGI Netflix series?
Not around here. The origins seem to be the only figures actually moving (aside from the reams of He-man & Skeletor). The Masterverse is clogging the shelves and the CGI show figures are a bit hit or miss.
Yes, my main store in town has phased out of Origins and replaced it with Revelations and the other new He-Man cartoon toys. I only found Origins at Walmart when I visited a different town recently. Depends by store I suppose.
