Anyone else’s copy of Buzzsaw Hordak have a loose left shin swivel? Only issue with mine. Also it’s annoying to see the Sky Sled handles being too big for most figures to grab. However I found out last night that Trap Jaw’s hook hand has a good grip on them. Yea you can use the foot pegs but they’re not that secure. Not sure if any of the other figures use the same vest Kronis has but you can store all of Trap Jaw’s attachment’s on the back.
I'm tempted to resort to buying the Rise of Evil 2 pack on eBay since I don't know if I'll eversee it in Canada at retail. As much as I appreciate the included full Power Sword, I would prefer two half swords cast in different shades of purple to further reference Keldor's use of double swords in 200x.
I'm not sure if it was posted...but the Rise of Evil pack is up for shipping right now. Masters Of The Universe Exclusive 2pk : Target
Yup, I've collected all the Minis so far. They're fun little guys. I liked the old ones released by Mattel, and I'm glad they made a comeback (even if the way their waves roll out is super confusing). Also, I've never seen them in a store... all mine were bought online.
Bought the $13 Prince Adam. Man, that new sword hilt is soooo much better. I also actually saw the Keldor/Kronis 2-pack. I passed, but I didn't know that the Skeletor head had shiny eyes. I doubt it'll ever end up on clearance, but if it did, I might buy it at 50% off for just the head and cape.
it’s a really cool set. I got one open and put the Skeletor head on him. I know the other figure is Trap Jaw before he became Trap Jaw.
Every joint is loose on the Buzz Saw Hordak I just picked up! Easily the loosest MotU Origins figure I've bought so far. I have two regular Hordaks so I was thinking of swapping out the legs and arms from one to Buzz Saw and then tightening up the joints with Kiki's for the loose limbs. My plan was to customize a Horde figure with the extra Hordak.
Agreed. Very few lines today really capture that. Goo jit zu is one of the few “new” lines that really puts out something new and different each season. classics was fun in the beginning but honestly became painful as time went by. Origins has the tempo of classics but the “fun” of the lines of the 80s and 90s.
I believe the new handle is also longer. If he holds it really easy then it's the new handle. If you have to stretch out the hand then it's not. New handle, long and thin. Old handle short and fat.
Nope, it's always been the shiny silver vac. The Flying Fists version had like a gold trim though. More pics: Reminds me of this William Stout art:
New modified elbow hinge pin starting with Wave 5. Hopefully means no more hard to pose arms with possibility of snapping.
