I'm glad to read that people love the mini comics too.
I only care for the vintage ones personally.

    Very much so :)

The stories that support our favorite toylines are important to me. They "set the table" for play patterns in my opinion and contribute to a level of shared immersion that keep fandoms together.

I can appreciate toys without lore or back stories but history shows that they tend to be forgotten.

    A noble pursuit.
If you (or anyone else interested) are in Australia I'd happily send you all my origins mini comics.

The vintage mini comics had the advantage of a much higher page count. I have the Dark Horse mini comic book and I really enjoyed it. I like how dark and gritty the first few are.

I have the complete original comics and I agree with you. The art work definitely stands out. I'm only missing #1 from the MOTUC, plus what's been released in Origins.

I meant the story was dark and gritty. The artwork and the very early mini comics matches that, but I remember one instance where Skeletor ordered his men to thai Teela down to a big stone table. Not tie her up, not throw her in the dungeon, tie her down.

I am passing on this guy. There's just not enough going on for me, he has the look of the cartoon, but the lack of accessories leaves me really cold. I suppose it comes down to that I'm not enough of a fan of the character.

I'm posting this mainly because it has Evil-Lyn in it but this reviewer's video color saturation and brightness isn't blown-out like TMC's. Thankfully Evil-Lyn isn't as vibrant of a yellow that they originally showed but she's still pretty yellow. Not that bad, though.

It was a small window- I noticed it sold out right before noon PST/~20 minutes after I posted here.

I would just keep checking the link.

He's one of the 2 fan favorites released with the next round of cartoon collection. We'll probably get online preorders in the next 6 weeks and he'll be available at all normal retail channels.

No, I was talking about Trap Jaw there. As far as I know there's no rerelease of Tung Lasher or King Hiss right now. Which is a shame because I have them both and they're fantastic. Everyone should have one of each.
