Walmart takes returns without penalty, so if you change your mind on an item, just take it back to a Walmart store with the order slip or app. Buy one in store, then let the other ship and return the one you don't want if you somehow can't find a buyer.

You know it's in stock again for shipping, right?

It might have to do with parts that they wanted to reuse.

It wasn’t when I checked. :/ It said “1 left” but wouldn’t let me add it to my cart. And now it looks like it’s properly unavailable to ship anyway. Thank though!

I mean, would it be all that bad if motu origins went back and redid a few figures? Mightve helped increased the lines lifespan before it basically dropped to mattel creations.

But what parts? I know the body was reused for a blue snake, but it utilizes the same gimmick, so honestly they could've kept the body gimmicks and nothing would've changed.

I don't really care, just find it odd. Like how that water spouting snakeman couldn't keep its squirter action, when the waters pouting dragonbeast of skeletor still could

I think the shredder with the horde trooper chest could look really cool.

Nothing else. Just a random thought I had looking at that new shredder

Oof, sorry about that, bad timing on my part. It was available again when I posted, so you may wanna keep checking - you could also use don't trust that "notify me when it's back in stock" thing. It'll be in stores though, none of the MOTU Origins exclusives from Target have been hard to find after a while.

You know there was a robot giant in concept as well with an autobots looking face and a megatron looking gun.
I think if you made 3 giants and you made them just like the origins figures. Being able to switch body parts, that would be enough to create the mix and match play pattern. I also think mattel could sell the idea of an exclusive giant buck to Wal-Mart much like the Andes the giant buck appeared to be exclusive to them for some time. Maybe even do a few wwe characters as well.

No worries at all! I’ll keep an eye on it, and like you said, generally Target exclusives show up in stores and are not too hard to find. :)

I think the only Target-exclusive figure I’ve ever actually been unable to find and missed was the NECA April O’Neil. Everything else has always turned up eventually.

Terroar, who could also use the gimmick but they may have not had solid plans for how they were going to handle his cybernetic arm. It could also have something to do with reusing heads on the extended neck. Or it could have been as simple as cost saving.

I would've accepted a thinner and shorter neck like 200x Rattlor

Could be. I'm just going to assume it was costuming in the end though

Didn't see this posted, sorry if a repost. First time seeing the box art for Necro-Conda.

RIP being a Walmart exclusive army builder though.

Toy habits posted something a few days ago about it being moved to Mattel Creations yesterday. They've been right on motu stuff lately.

    Thayd be better I suppose.

Some mattel creation exclusives at least make it to Amazon, if the skeletons, snake lady and rock person are anything to go by.

If I see this on amazon, I'd probably buy it.

The skeleton two-pack? That wasn’t a Creations exclusive. BBTS still has them.

Were the others just randomly being resold by a third-party seller? I figure it’d be news much sooner if Mattel Creations were dumping exclusive stock on Amazon all this time.

It's 3rd party. Lady Slither is like $60 on Amazon. Wun-Dar is a more reasonable $35 after shipping. Fang-or is $55.

Oh. Never really caught up on that stopp paying attention after seeing them as mattel exclusive.

Yeah, they're overpriced on amazon, but given I'm more of a casual collector, and im not going to run around trying to use the mattel creations store, I'm fine with paying for like, one overpriced item.
