3D printing can be really inexpensive.

You quoted me before my edit, but...

Material, yeah, especially a company their size. Designing all four of these from scratch, counting all of the billable hours, ensuring it's something that's going to hold up to online scrutiny of toy nerds and everything is assembled well? Nah.

VeeFriends CC Skeletor's still in stock, I wonder if this one's gonna linger permanently.

The set isn’t for me, but if pre-orders for the single card release didn’t go up couple days prior, I would’ve ordered the 2-pack, lol. :p

Yeah, I think it being an essentially slightly adjusted version of a mass release figure that's coming soon along with a lil guy most of us have never heard of means demand won't be very high.

It has 2 exclusive faces and hands, which should make it somewhat more tempting, but you're right that it's only going to tempt a certain type of buyer.

Oh, I don't know about that. You just need to find the right parts and enough glue.

Yeah...that would be me. I'm a sucker for glow in the dark stuff and Skeletor...so win/win on this goofy 2-pack.

I'm not a huge funko pop fan though and the veefriends thing kind of reminds me of one.

That face kind of reminds me of the scary movie Ghostface when he smokes a bong. A smiling Skelton.

Was wondering what the hell it actually is, and turns out it’s NFT nonsense.

Except this is a real thing making it infinitely more valuable than any NFT.

I thought these companies already moved away from that nft fad. Weird.

Mattel and McFarlane still try and mess around with the stuff for some reason, probably sunk cost fallacy stuff.

That's the interesting thing here. It's not an NFT it's a real thing based on an artist that works in NFTs.

It still blows my mind that NFTs ever took off. It was so clear that it was an insane waste of money, but SO many people jumped into it.oh well

As a way for artists to sell their art it's not a terrible idea.

It was targeted at all the people who were convinced they'd have made a ton on Bitcoin if they'd just heard about it in time. They were eager for the next thing and jumped.
