This isn't surprising considering Mattel couldn't get it right on the more expensive Classics figures.
Well, if you find another person with two right arms, you can trade. Brings the community together. Sleezy Mattel tactics, lol.
Just found the box of original MOTU figures I got from a friend years ago. Whole ton of stuff in there I had forgotten I had. Skeltor Stratos Jitsu Manteanea Red bug guy you can pull apart Mechaneck Buzz Off Man E Faces Stinkor Mossman Webstor Hordak - only one with damage. Leg broke off Kobra Khaaaannnn!!!! Hord guy with suction face Zoar bird Yellow Blue guy who spins Robot guy with transparent chest Grizzor Dragon Walker vehicle Stridor horse. Whole bunch of accessories - I see a yellow version of Beast Man's arm armor in there.
: Did you forget that pictures can be taken and uploaded to this thread for others to reminisce on what they and/or their friends previously had?
Has anyone found these in stores or lucked out online? I refuse eBay. Sad thing is I don’t even really like them. But I HAVE to get He-man and Skeletor regardless. Classics For Life!!!!
This head is just a custom from a 80`s vintage figure. The official vintage head from the SDCC 2-pack doesn`t look as good as this one.
I was thinking...I don't remember ever seeing a Power Sword replica or toy for MOTU. Seems odd considering how iconic and crucial to the show it is.
I gave in and ordered 4 wwe figures. ultimate warrior Macho man Facena Triple H got the undertaker email today and it was sold out again before the page even loaded....
I've been casually following the line because I'm a super MOTU casual, and the idea sounded interesting, and after watching Pixel Dan's videos on what's out, it seems to me, that in my opinion... ...MOTU Origins kinda sucks? Everyone's mentioned the He-Man head, which isn't great. I feel like MOTUC makes Origins pretty redundant. Personally, I think bumping the price up a bit and including things like the alt. heads and hands from the SDCC set would make the figures more appealing. That's why out of what I've seen, the Sky Sled looks the most appealing, because it has the blast effect, the stand, and the parts to make it the good guys' or bad guys' version. Battle Cat is a half step because the head articulation is GREAT, but the legs might as well be static because you can't really use the joints in them to do anything.
I respect it for what it is and how it scales with the original line and aesthetically fits with it. I think it’s 18 years late though, there’s no reason Mattel couldn’t have released a line like this back in 2002 instead of reissuing the original figures.
