I can't get behind that He-man head. No He-man means I can't get behind this line. Throw in it will be impossible to find because Wal-Mart, I don't care before it even started which is sad.

It's why I hardly collect anything anymore outside of LEGO. Got tired of being mad about toys.

Yeah but it’s the same one for the entire wave. So you’re gonna have a little stack of them.

I like the updated head, it’s like a mix between the toy and filmation look.

Hasn't it been noted that the classics heads for on the origins bodies?

Yeah, I can’t get back the head sculpt either. If its the vintage looking head, I would at least pick up He-man, Skeletor, Battle Cat and Panthor (if he’s released).

The vintage headsculpt is done and on two exclusive releases of He-Man already ... So it’ll probably show up in the line again.

Walmart has the exclusive initially then it goes to everyone. Apparently.

I can't see Panthor not being released. Such a simple toy to make. They've already sculpted him when they made Battle Cat.

Thanks for the insight man! I wasn’t paying attention when the 2 pack was announced...

I agree with you that we will probably see the vintage head down the line...its just that I also need to set aside cash for the 6 inch Joes...I’m spoilt by modern updates...

Yeah, I hope. At the very least, I will pick both cats and their riders! :)

I'd be fine with even a 200X head or even the Classics one. I think the standard is supposed to represent the minicomic, I just think it sucks lol.

Also Mattel should be trying to hook people at retail, not exclusives. Exclusives make my blood boil. I'm too old for that shit. Give me the vintage head you already sculpted and put them on Amazon/Dorkside etc.

I don't like the headsculpts for He-Man or Skeletor, so might skip them and wait for a Battle Armour variant or something

the rest of what we've seen looks good though

Yeah, I wasn't going to collect this line if I couldn't have a vintage toy head He-Man. The Power-Con exclusive 5 pack was expensive. $40 a figure was steep. I sold off some Masters of the Universe Classics figures that I could live without to pay for it. All I really want is the He-Man with vintage head and the mini comic Mer-Man. I figure I can sell off the Skeletor, Beast Man, and Man at Arms individually and probably make back what I paid for the whole set. That is, if the aftermarket price of the SDCC He-Man and Prince Adam are any indication.

Mattel isn´t able to reproduce the vintage head.

@Slender102 how did Skeletor and He-man turn out quality-wise?

    I want to like these.

But all the headsculpts I saw are very, very underwhelming. And I see knee rotation and no thigh rotation, which is unfortunate (but maybe in hand it's fine, I don't know).

Or maybe I just want Classics, and I struggle to appreciate these for what they are...

And if you don’t like the crossover element then you can take the armor off and just have a wrestling figure.

    @Shin Densetsu Hey

They turned out great. Very solid, no loose joints or anything. I noticed my He-Man harness has a mark on the side by the cross but that’s it. Swords were a little warped. They are wrapped in a bag with all the other accessories and taped up so like Skeletor’s staff has the sword bent around it. My only nitpicks were stuff related to things not included or such but fun solid figures.

These figures look like something out of a Toy Story movie which appeals to me visually. They look like *toys* (not collectors items or adult collectibles). I definitely don't need these but i may buy one or 2 of the bad guys.

I finally broke and bought Macho Man-at-Arms today. Still wish he had the Man-at-Arms upper body armor.

But a will get Skeletor now to have in a head lock.
