They made a movie named after it.

To be fair, fschuler likely knows exactly where I was talking about. And I really doubt you're going to make the thirteen hour drive to get there. So I am not certain what you're after here.

Honestly, I really doubt he's going to make the drive to get there. I went on a whim.

    Hi All,
Apologies for the out-of-the-blue post and please do let me know if this is the wrong thread. I have a ton of original MOTU stuff from my childhood, characters (maybe 50-80?), vehicles (maybe 10-15), plus Greyskull, Snake Mountain, Horde Zone (I think it was called... the Hordak cave) and hundreds of weapons and accessories. All pretty heavily played, probably bits missing and no packaging or anything but just trying to get a handle on whether they are worth anything much. My kids have kind of had their fun with it and moved on, and now it's just taking up valuable space in our apartment and I think I'm just holding on to it for nostaglia's sake. My kids have a much stronger attachment to my G1 TF toys and stuff, and I doubt they would want to keep it for their kids.

I don't think eBay is always a good guide but they have figures around $20-50 each which is surprising. Much more for near-mint (I don't think any of mine are).

Are there any good resources in the MOTU community to help gauge value? I'm not looking to get rich, just get a fair price and move this stuff on to someone who will genuinely value them.

    Cheers for any help/advice!

If I were headed down to Tennessee anytime soon, I'd probably stop in. That's about the only time I get down that direction. I'm hopeful Mr. T shows up around here...it took forever for the rest of the Origins figures to pop up...

Elizabethtown, KY (a bit south of Louisville). lol.

Depends on the character. Also, as you say, all heavily played with. I doubt you would get that much per figure, especially missing pieces.

On other news, I found Mr T and Jake the Snake today at Walmart!! I was there near closing and they had the shipping boxes in the aisle to be stocked. Found the MOTU WWE box and opened it. I got yelled at by the toy dept person but I got the 2 figures I wanted.

I got a bit of an update on the Rattlesnake Mountain Ariana. I just hope it hold true.

A weird response. Due to inventory issues, it is going to ship? It seems if there are issues, it would be delayed.

I thought so too, but there have already been two delays, so maybe that's what he meant? I told them that it was going to be a birthday gift but with the delays it now had to be for Christmas. Also they gave me 5% off.

Wonder if there will be an option for the ring without the figures? I'm not collecting the MOTUWWE figures, but I do like the ring. I have the Greyskull version already and would love to have this one to go with it!

Maybe he's from a parallel Earth because the E-Town here doesn't even have a K-Mart anymore.

Thought I did see a Circle K though.

Too bad it was a WalMart in Monkey's Eyebrow.

Well the Rattlesnake Mountain Ariana shipped. Let's hope it makes it mostly unscathed.
