Not to defend a scalper but $35 isn't worth it. Figure after tax, a $25 battle cat will cost $27 just to take it out of the store. Then ebay and paypal fees on top of that. He MIGHT make a few dollars 'profit'. Then there is the risk of an buyer pulling some shady stuff (not that you would). This assuming you would have had to pay shipping on top of the $35 offer. If it was free shipping, he's just lost money & he'd be better off just returning it to the store.

    He'd make for a neat pre-Beastman.

It’s a great start for the new line. So far it’s been sell outs where it’s either been to real fans or grubby scalpers but there’s been a few pics of kids with them and that’s Mattel’s target demographic on these. The art has been a huge win on these boxes. It’s completely consistent and actually been more enjoyable to me than the mini comics.

Axel is a tremendous asset to Masters!!! There’s so many deep cuts in just that pic alone. The Red demon guy is from the Obelisk mini. Axel has a cool MOTUC custom of him on his IG. They call him Mowdar. The warrior guy by Teela is from the original Wind Raider box art. The guards flying with MAA are from the Texeira minis. Then there the outlines of it looks like the Fuerza T guys on Battle Cats box.

In the Chicagoland area it looks like only Skeletor hit some stores. I stopped by one near closing that showed they had it. The store had 2 trucks last night and the assistant manager who was pulling freight to the floor told me she was sorry she couldn’t look for them and it might be a few days before they’re processed. They hit stock when the truck is scanned in but it could take hours to unload it or like their situation they have another truck sitting there not unloaded. She was looking at 60% of their staff called off last night. The one guy at my go to store said they’d be getting a shipper full of Masters probably in Sept.when they start their pre holiday push. He has some report they get that shows them what stuff is coming in and where it should go like the middle aisle and endcaps.

I still think they want too much for Battle Cat. He-Man and BC will run you $40 damned dollars, before tax.

Hit 2 walmarts tonight on the way home, both said they had stock but it wasn't out yet.

Between these and the Target Joe fiasco, exclusives can be down right maddening.

I found a Battle Cat this morning...and I have to concur with @Scourgatron The figure looks decent enough...but the articulation is just...very limited. I certainly didn’t expect premium articulation for $25, but he just doesn’t pull off much more than just a vanilla pose. Do not feed the scalpers...especially on this one, guys.

Edit: If he had full articulation at his shoulders, hips and ankles, I’d pay $35...but as-is, $25 would be my max.

Mega Construx seems to be doing okay. Like yeah, they're doing repaints more than some would like, but it doesn't bother me personally.

Wh... no it doesn't? Like, at all? Like, even with the goggles up, it isn't.

Ran to my local Wally before closing and learned some interesting info. MOTU is a supply out from Mattel already!!!! The dm put an order for 24 of each figure tag in but it’s looking like end of month for an estimate. This 4 month head start Wally has on everyone is gonna be a pain in the ass!!

A major douche move on WM's part to not include them for pickup. Im tired of going to WM.

Almost to the point of just waiting for wide release.

3 left? Then why dont I own it?

    Ebay:
And then even if their site will let you order it for pickup, they just auto-cancel your order a little while later anyway. I imagine the item(s) is on a pallet in the back somewhere, so it shows in stock. Maybe they don't allow pickup unless the item is on the floor.

About a month ago, I ordered an electric pool pump. Canceled. Walked into the store 30 minutes later, there was a display with probably 100 of them on there, just inside the door.

Well, truth be told, a lot of Wal-Mart employees are lazy as fuck. They see stuff like that and they'd rather cancel it than deal with it. Had to fire plenty of people back in the day for that kind of behavior.

This is what they get for underpaying people it makes no sense. Hire four lazy incompetent people to do the job of one well-paid motivated one.
