I was at Walmart for other reasons this morning...found this...no other figures, though...even checked bicycle section...lol...

 

I do want Skeletor for Macho Man-at-Arms to toss around.

Edit: I do like that they got Hulk's hairline in the sculpt.


Saw Battlecat and Adam this afternoon. Pretty neat.

 

Walmarts SKUs for this must be jacked up.

Says 3 of the wave in stock, 3 He-Mans and 2 Skeletors. All that was out was Battle Cat, Sled, and 4 Skeletors.

Found Battle Cat in the wrestling figures, Sky Sled by the Ghostbusters and Skeletor was on Marvel pegs.

Battle Cat really should've been $19.99. The sled w/ Adam is a great deal at $30.

Gotta say I like He-Man's new headsculpt better than the original. But Skeletor cosplays as suprised Pikachu.

 

Adam is the first Origins figure I’ve handled. Overall, he’s pretty good and solid. All of the joints work pretty well. The only issue I’ve had is that his hand grip is a little too small to hold his sword reliably...the sword keeps popping out. I might need to trim some plastic from the grip holes in his hands.

 

I would have probably collected these, but I already have classics. If I did not already have so much space full of Transformers, I might have started a second collection. But I don't want to collect too much stuff. I really like the look of these. But I like Classics better and I already have these. Without them, I'd be in for these. A pity, really. I also like the bright colors of Adam. And I always wanted a Jet Sled without the Battle Ram. Just the Jet Sled. Now I could get it. But now is like 35 years too late  

 

I mostly missed the boat on Classics (other than Sorceress in the pic above). By the time I discovered them, there weren’t many left at retail prices. I don’t know how many Origins figures I’ll get...but it would be nice to at least pick up the core cast.

Well, Battle Cat has some limitations in posability, but it's essentially the Filmation Battle Cat we never got in Classics (colors, simple sculpt, yellow eyes, almost same size as classics).
Bought.

 

Looks like she's copping a feel there.

 

Went toy hunting today, and found a Walmart with the pallets out, and... unopened cases of Origins figures.  

...but couldn't pull the trigger. Currently in a downsizing phase, so I didn't rip any of those boxes open. I did, however, pick up a whole set of those blind-box MOTU minis that come in the Castle Grayskulls, the Funko Pop Battle Cat/He-Man, and prince Adam (didn't find any of the oversized Skeletors out on the floor).

Moral of the story: downsizing just means buying less  

 

Were they available to buy yet?

 

There weren't any workers near buy, so I'm sure I could have just taken them to the cash registers!

I have the entire classics line, except for shadow weaver. I have no room for this line, but, I’m a sucker.

 

Me too except I have Shadow Weaver.... missing a few here and there Photog, Nepthu maybe a few POP girls. Definitely all in on this though.
