Eh, it is what it is, but I just don't have it in me to hafta hunt figures I want that are exclusives with yet another line. I'll just return my still unopened Battle Cat to Target, and use those funds to cover most of the T-Wrecks I ordered the other day.
Eh, those two are definitely "fan favorites", but I'd hardly call them major in any way. Though it looks like the new comic has made Scareglow Spoiler the MOTU equivalent to Satan so he's probably going to become more important.
Wonder how "exclusive" will be Scareglow if it will be really exclusive or more like: Skelegod, Battle Cat and Faker.
Wel it's SDCC and being sold through Mattel Creations website. Could be really exclusive or there could be a retail version with less accessories and no fancy package.
Walmart updated its website with Faker pics: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Masters-...48-49b7-8f28-ce91f451e520&selected=true&la=12 It could be available for the Walmart Con!
Huh... I thought we had confirmation that this was Target exclusive? Does anyone see any differences between this and the one that Target showed pics of?
Sure, here is the link of the Walmart Con. There are several Masterverse listings that could be available in the Con, like the "Target's exclusives": Skelegod, Battle Cat and Faker. Actually, Skelegod was available several days ago on Walmart website and with a better price than Target: 24.97$ !
Its possible the exclusive Scareglow is just a version of the character, and another version will see general release later. Either way I’m skipping this one. This Scareglow is lacking the main feature that has always made him a favorite of mine. A little glowy paint is no substitute for a fully glowy body. He does look cool, but not enough to make me want one.
Found the remnants of the first wave at Walmart today, meaning a decent amount of Skeletors and He-Mans (boy, where have I heard that before...). I thought about getting He-Man since I've always gotten Battle Cat, but I might hold out for a version with a better looking head. I did grab Skeletor though, and he's honestly great. I wish he had another fist for his left arm, and Mattel still needs to figure out vertical wrist hinges, but overall I think I like him more than Skelegod. I'm kind of thinking the same thing. Or at least hoping so, cuz I already have a Nappa to buy that day.
I saw all of the first wave of figures between Walmart and Target today. And I can honestly say that I'm good with passing on this line. I had almost bought Battle Cat on Target.com, but I'm glad that I saw it in person, first. It just doesn't *click* for me. I think it's the gap in the armour in the neck area that throws things off for me. Also the derpy Battle Cat eyes. Speaking of derpy, that He-Man... ouch. I secretly hoped that he was one of those figures that just didn't photograph well, but nope. Kind of sad since I'm the key demographic for this line, but my wallet and limited shelf space are relieved.
