What a wave! That Sorceress looks amazing! A little more jacked than I might've expected (dem Chun Li Thighs!) but amazing none the less!
I finally bit the bullet and bought another Sky Sled for a ridiculous price ($33). God i'm so mad at myself because of when I passed up buying more when they were ~$12.
Just got Two Bad today and I am blown away with how good he is. Love that he is larger than the other Skeletor minions. Now if I can track down a Stratos I will be caught up for a bit.
Hello! just two questions to my fellow Masterverse collectors. 1. This is probably a no brainer but does anyone think that these Stratos wings (STRATOS Wings Blue/red Masters of the Universe MOTU - Etsy) would fit on the Masterverse Stratos? 2. On the Masterverse Man-At-Arms, any recommendation on giving this guy any laser weapons?
I had a coupon expiring at Target so I decided to show a full-price Masterverse figure some love for the first time at brick & mortar (before this, the only full price Masterverse figures I got were NE Skeletor from Mattel's HQ store and NE He-Man from Amazon; I ordered 40th He-Man for full price at Target.com but got a price-match to a reduced price when it went on sale within a week of my receiving the box), chose Two-Bad because he's just looked so cool since I first saw him and y'all have been hyping him up. Two-Bad continues the string of hits that is New Eternia, that subline is even tempting me to get Stratos and Zodak who are not characters I am usually interested in. Two-Bad lives up to the hype. Masterverse may not be the sharpest, most modern sculpting in toydom right now but for what it is, Two-Bad delivers fantastically. The sculpting, the paint, the accessories, the costume elements all work together to create this massive two-headed maniac. I do have three complaints, in descending order: - the belt is too short, it's supposed to go around his crotch belt but doesn't have a stop for this, the stop only works when the belt is around his stomach. This really bothers me, how hard would it have been to simply lengthen the belt and add another stop? - the elbows and knees are all a bit lighter than the limbs they're connected to. - the shield plastic isn't opaque. Otherwise, he's great and I'm glad I got him before the clearance assault that Masterverse usually suffers. I love the rotating mount for the axe that looks like a little guy biting down.
agreed. Not thrilled about the long dress though, limits the posing.. guess you could carefully cut it down to get the miniskirt. I wonder if you can reverse the cape? I’d rather have the orange visible from the front, feels a bit lacking without the orange contrasting against the arms.
Finally managed to get Roboto (HEY, I said the right name!! ) in a cool pose. He REALLY is hard to pose well for some reason...
Fuck. She looks amazing. It really does seem like Mattel screwed the hell up with the cape though. I hope it can be reversed. JT: Two Bad's belt should be able to go around the waist. It does without modification on mine.
So far, all of the soft goods have been removable on the other figures so I hope you're right as well.
That's interesting, mine isn't even close, in fact after removing it once it now doesn't want to stay closed around the stomach. I looked up a ton of pics and nearly all of them were like mine, so I assumed 100% of them would be. I'll hit up the store and see if I can find another sample.
Finally some new life into my Masterverse shelf..... Stratos and He-ro seem to be on a slow boat and there's some sort of snafu with my Lynn but at least things have finally unfrozen.
Movie He-Man -found him in Target today ….he looks good (IMO) Now if I only could convince Skeletor to let me open him…..
Skeletor: I have you where I want you He-Man, what I pity we will not have a fated Sword Battle. He-Man: At least tell me how you plan to take over Eternia! Skeletor: *chuckles* Oh I don’t think so…I’m not falling for that again.
