    He-Man has his axe...
And this is how we're supposed to get it? Damn, I had no plans to get Savage He-Man, but between Orko, that headsculpt and the axe, this just became a must have.

I love the concept of He-Man stripping down and getting more basic to battle an armored-up, powered-up Skeletor.

There was a post out there, that I can seem to find now that said that
He-Man is Adam with the power of Grayskull, but with out the sword, and some how that has caused him to lose focus and become an out of control savage, with the speed and strength or 10 He-Men.

I still think Classics is a better an-crunch. Except for the back.

Put Classics mold with double joints at knees and elbows and interchangeable hands and you have a winner.

My thoughts almost exactly. I would prefer an extra hinge at the knee and elbow cause it hides a little nicer. But yes.

Yeah, the Classics buck is solid even at about a decade and a half in age.

I appreciate the basic Masterverse Revelation toy design but the Classics design captures the hyper idealized muscle man fantasy aesthetic of the 70s and 80s that I associate with MotU. I'd love to see either a thorough upgrading of the Classics buck with improved range of motion at the joints or a Masterverse buck with more classic Mr. Universe or Mr. Olympia physique aesthetics.

I think from a neutral pose perspective it’s the best MOTU buck. Masterverse is fun but looks a little wonky. Origins is fun in its retro-style. Classics is still the best overall, especially for a huge collection cause you aren’t going to do a hundred dynamic poses.

I love that classics looks more realistic while also capturing the motu look.

I would love a master verse he-man, but I don't think the toy captures the look of the show...

I think we will get a new, slightly updated, modern version of He-Man once Adam gets the sword back. A more King Grayskull looking He-Man.

The MOTUC buck as I see it, is the best compromise between the 80's massive look vs. the 200x lean look and the articulated trend that Toybiz marvel legends started in the earlier 2000's and went to 2010 and beyond.

I agree. I am almost certain we are heading for “Final Form” versions of the characters. Obviously Teela will be Sorceress and whatever that looks like... I hope the Snake-Armor but I am less than optimistic. I am positive He-Man will be whatever they want the new He-Man esthetic to be. Mattel has been trying to ditch the loin cloth for years (and did in the new show). I am expecting He-Man to look more like Battle-Armor He-Man. More armor, less naked. I also think Skeletor might get a makeover. Interesting if they went full Scareglow but it’s hard to fuck with perfection and Skeletor is a flawless design.
