Thanks for creating a separate thread for this upcoming MOTU line!

I’ll buy them only if they appear at retail in my country. Currently, I’m gunning for He-man, Skeletor and Battle Cat!

Awesome. Now that we actually have things to discuss about Masterverse it's better to have a separate thread for it.

Right now I'm all in outside of the deluxe Skeletor.

I definitely need He-Man and Battlecat but not if I have to hunt them down.

Do you think Battlecat would fit a Classics display?

So far, Evil-Lyn is the only definite purchase, but that's largely the impact of 200X on my collection.

Loving the combo of 200X and Classics designs for these guys. Unless something happens, I'm in for a lot of figures, as they're what I've been looking for since the 200X line was first announced. The lack of articulation killed my interest in that line though, so fingers crossed with this new line!

This is what I’m waiting to see. I missed out on Classics Battle Cat.

I think it's likely. I don't really plan on investing in this line, and already have the Classics Battlecat, but I am very interested in this one. Between Classics, Origins and this one, I can have a whole Battlecat Family.

I'm digging these a lot more now that we have hi-res, out-of-package shots of them. I'm still not too keen on Evil-Lyn though, her design is just too bland to me. Battle Cat is weird as well. I do like all the articulation and the coloring, but that helmet shape is just so odd looking. Maybe it's the camera angle, but I'm not sure. Other than that, these look like great toys, Moss Man especially. I can't wait to see what they do with other continuities, a fully articulated 200x Mekaneck would be amazing.

thank you to whoever split the threads, i'm very happy to not have to hurt the feelings of my Origins friends by saying how much i think their toys are bad lol

I'm in for the whole first wave minus He-man, he's a maybe but the rest are on sight buy/preorder

The article says the first wave of figures will debut June 15. Are these available for preorder anywhere or is the release date just not firm?

I don’t mean to be a downer but aesthetics wise, it won’t fit. The current Masterverse looks too stylized.

That being said, it will boil down to personal preference.

My bad quoted wrong person @Murasame

Maybe battlecat won't but I think it could work as a Cringer, and just use Origins as Battlecat (after watching a comparison video or OvsC there's only a bit lost in articulation but is made up for in I think height)

Even better than the height comparison, fix the articulation of the ankles on Origins

I truly hope they have much better figure distribution than the 2002 line. I almost never saw other characters and only saw several variants of he-man and skeletor.

As long as ToysrUs stays gone online retailers are the only way to go. I imagine BBTS orders so many figures from Mattel now there is not much of chance you’ll miss out. Except on stupid Target Exclusives.

That poor turtle...lol... I wish they would have upped the budget on Battle Cat and given him a few more joints to begin with. I would have been willing to shell out more $$ for it too.
