I suspect there will be a last minute push, but dang it’s going to be close.

I would not be surprised if S7 extends it. They might not need to, hopefully. but given that they're over half way there, it wouldn't be the first time.

I'm almost certainly going to order it (probably through Entertainment Earth) but haven't done so yet.

Selfishly, I wish there were a local pickup option, since I live in San Francisco where Super 7 is based. But alas, I politely inquired about it and no such luck.

Had to crack my filmation MAA because I discovered recently that he had his bellybutton in the back. Yes. I could correct him, but pulled his head thinking that it could go as the rest of the line and I only stretch the internal piece of plastic giving him a bubble head now. These toys as expensive as they are shouldnt have to be fixed, they should come right the first time.

I lived in San Francisco as well. Born & raised in the Sunset. Very cool! :)

I think that Super7 just doesn't have the resources or is structured to handle pickup options given that they're really not a large company compared to Mattel. However, they do have at least 2 stores in California if I'm not mistaken? I'm kind of surprised they won't make a few extra Snake Mountains to sell in-store. They've done crazy things before.

I have to agree as I feel the same way about all higher-priced collectibles and toys. I had to pay over $90 for a replacement Hordak off eBay because the one I got from Super7 has a broken crotch and the legs fell off. I didn't open the first one until months after getting it, so there weren't any more from S7.

Yes Sportimus...it is 80 more plus shipping best scenario if I want to get a new one. I guess I will keep my bubble head MAA.

Nice! I wasn't born here, but I've lived here for 20 years now, so it's home. We lived in the Inner Sunset for a bit, now we're just south of the City. But I still work in SF.

Yeah, I figured it was a long shot, doing local pickup. But thought it was worth asking in this case. It always makes me sigh a little paying for Super 7 shipping and then seeing a return address that's, like, a ten minute drive from me. :p

Anyhow, on topic, I went ahead and placed my order through Entertainment Earth. Now to start figuring out where the heck I'm gonna put this thing.

I sure hope all of you ordering through EE don't get shorted.

Honestly that's the most likely scenario, but I also have very little faith in the company at this point.

Why would they get shorted? I'm sure their numbers are already accounted for by S7 in the minimum. Do they oversell more than they ordered from S7?

Might have asked this question before:
Does anyone think that Super7 will re-release any of the filmation figures?

I jumped in on the Heman and Skeletor re-releases and just recently got Man-e-faces and Merman. I want a small focused collection and really just want the main figures from the first 2 years. Man at arms, Teela, Zodac, Ram-man, Evil Lyn, Beast Man, Faker, Triclops, and Trap Jaw....

The secondary market prices are pretty crazy right now. Should I wait or should I just pony up and start picking off my desired list of characters?

    Thanks for any help offered....

You forgot about Orko. Apparently, he's magical. I have one on pre-order:

EE oversells and is very secretive so it's usually too late by the time they get around to telling you.

Yeah, I’m a little concerned ordering from EE. I know they can be shady. We’ll see, I guess.

Well with EE I've cancelled roughly 3 or 4 orders from them before as long as I've known about them. I sometimes wonder why it takes so long to get product in. I mean BBTS can be slow yes,........but EE is REALLY slow and I'm really skeptical about them. I managed to purchase 1 item from them before. It was because they had her in stock. It was the transformers Victorian combiner. I really can't wait on their really slow to get stuff in. I just don't know HOW they stay in business really cause they always have the lovely sold out tag next to about everything you would want or coming soon.

I'm hopeful with the success of the Ultimates we get to at least see an Ultimate Evil-Lyn, Ultimate Teela, Ultimate Man-At-Arms, Ultimate Hordak with new arm attachments and possibly Ultimate Tri-Klops and Trap-Jaw.

Personally I doubt we'll see them all at once if they do future Ultimate Filmation figures. I'd also take Evil-Lyn's various disguised forms in future waves as consolation if necessary such as her disguise from the episode introducing the Widgets and her disguise when she was using the Shaping Staff. Heck, with the pool of characters limited to the Filmation series for the most part going forward I half expect to start seeing random characters like Zagraz the Comet Magician in a future wave.

We already got an Ultimate Teela from Super 7. It had a brighter red snake armor and the blond haired head.

Man-at-Arms would be interesting since there are a lot of variations and weapons you can give him.

I have Filmation Evil-Lyn, but I keep thinking I would like the original MOTUC design too, but prices are getting high on that one.

That was not Ultimate Filmation Teela, which is what I was going for.

Huh. I have a MOTUC Evil Lyn and Filmation Teela that I just stopped listing because nobody would bid.

Part of the reason Super7's stuff is so expensive is because they have to make batches of what must be only 500-800 figures. No doubt they did that because they saw the games Mattel had to play clearing out larger production runs. Just something to think about...

Maybe they can do another run of these figures and do the preorder minimum thing. Take preorders but only make the figures if they reach the minimum needed.

I'm also in the camp of now that I've got the 2 main guys, i want the main supporting cast. Teela, Evil Lyn, Man At Arms, Beast Man. I'd love a Trap jaw also. Probably Orko as well.
