have you guys seen NA? its really not bad, its actually pretty good compared to the majority of nonsense that came out from 1989-1991. its different, sure, but then again, the original he-man cartoon wasn't exactly spectacular
The 90's were just about 20 years ago, I think they classify as 'classics' now. I wonder if Scareglow will show up here before the 15th.
You know, I can understand people not wanting the character (I'm a little miffed as a subscriber myself), but at the end of the day I made the choice to get the subscription knowing full well that there would be NA characters getting released through it eventually. While I wasn't a big fan of NA I'll at least give the character a shot... and who knows... he at least looks neat so perhaps I'll like him better once I see his bio (curious to see how the NA character get integrated into this new universe Mattel is creating through the bios) and hold him in my hands.
Matty said they are going to make everybody from the original line.....so we'll get those original characters sooner or later.
at least it's a villian. I hope She Ra is June or later in the year (since I might be working when Adora goes on sale and will probably be sold out when I get home)
I made one of my favorite characters from the new MOTUC line into 3 3/4" form and now thanks to Dr. Mindbender he summoned a new recruit from another dimension. It's about 98% complete I just need to paint his staff neon green and I'm still working on his club and chain weapon.I did use glow in the dark paint on him so he does glow.I just don't know how to capture the effect on film.I think if I get a blacklight it might work. Does anyone else find Teela has a gap between the bottom of her head and top of the neck from the back? Is it a common issue?

I have no idea right now since mine is out of package. However all have the gap since the joint was made that way in order not to hinder pose ability.
It's a cartoon that has a bad rep with a lot of fans and non-fans alike. Actually, if you ignore the original series and take NA for what it is, it isn't that bad, I agree. Skeletor had a lot more humor in him that was rather clever than dumb. New villains like Slush-Head were pretty decent and a little bit more capable than than the original ones were. The heroes were so-so, the ships looked stupid, and He-Man was just a guy in blue pants, sadly, as he didn't seem all that powerful to me. Mattel is starting to mix the line now that it has gained a lot of momentum and popularity. They will make more of the original line characters (hopefully all of them), but it will be spread out with 200X, Pop and NA because the original line is pretty much the backbone of the line. We got 200x Zodak as a repaint of Zodac which was the first figure to be based on another He-Man line.
Man-at-Arms reissue confirmed for February and listed on Mattycollector.com Along with Optikk and Evil-lyn, there was a picture of 4 accessories from upcoming figures, but we have to guess what figures. The accessories & my guesses: -Gold shield with Crystal--She-Ra -Little purple thing--Keldor (The accessory looks like the vile of acid he threw at Randor in first MYP episode) -Yellow power sword--Thunderpunch He-man (or maybe Laser Power He-man?), though without the gimmick -Gray He-Man shield with white areas & black rivets--? I don't know? Is there a variant He-man from any line with a shield in those colors, I can't think of one. It actually looks like it'd be good for Wundar.
I was just on Mattys site and just seen that MAA was being reissed next month. Glad I got my 2 so I have no need to order him at all. All I have to get is 2 Battle cats and thats it cause my sub will take care of Trap-Jaw for me. This month is going to be tough though. Last month and this month 5 figures in arow, man my wallet is screaming.
Thanks for the heads up. Glad it is across all of them and not just mine. So Battle Cat, Man at Arms, and Trap Jaw all in the same day, I wonder how that will turn out?
action figure insider has pics up of trap Jaw Can't say how excited I am for this guy. He was definitly of my favorite figures as a kid.
