wow...then, it is completely useless. I could have sworn that last year he promoted this differently.
This surely will be my last sub year for MOTUC. I just checked them mail, and my $37.26 pint-sized Barbie did come today. A single figure costs way too much now, that extra $5 changed the weight somehow and the taxes, and snowballed into the price i'd rather pay for something from hlj.com.
    thanks for the clarity.

No problem, it really is a useless service for now, I think this might be helpful when other items, like weapon packs, or non-sub items like Castle Greyskull and other items that aren't in the sub.

Mattycollector would do MUCH better to just offer the figures through Diamond and let ever comic book store (and BBTS) be the distribution for their collector lines. I can pretty much guarantee larger orders for Mattel and a customer base that would be happier.

Ok, I finally opened up my Granamyr today and there's no misassembled limbs, good paint job but...I can't seem to affix his right leg and tail in. I looked at the socket within the lower body and it doesn't seems broken. Any tips guys?

With regards to Neca Figures, yeah I agree that the plastic used is pretty solid and the paint details are pretty outstanding.

However, most of the stocks that my import shops bring in have paint slop issues. I'm not that fussy with paint but mis-painted eye brows etc are a no-no for me.

I can overlook the above issue for Neca because the toys are technically meant for the mass market. MOTU - I have higher expectations because if they're meant for collectors, then QC should be tighter.

I also concour that the price is a big put-off. In terms of local currency, Granamyr costed me $150. $150. With that amount of money, I can buy other toys that have better QC and of better make.

For example, Bandai's SH Monsterarts King Ghidorah only costed me $120 (local currency) and the although he's around 9-10 inches, the details and POA are superior to Gynamyr IMO.

I also agree with Sportimus - Mattel is simply price gorguing us and the figures are not worth the current prices. Oh well, at least with Ram Man's release I can comfort myself that the main cast from the Flimaton series have all been released.

Use a hair dryer to loosen up the tabs.

The tabs in the lower body? Sorry I'm not sure of the terminology - appreciate the response! :)

That's what I was going to recommend.

Yeah, just heat up the part where the tail or leg plugs into. It'll soften it, and allow it to slide in easier. It'll also be less stressful if you're worried about it possibly cracking like some have reported.

Thanks for the advice guys, I managed to connect the right leg. Now's all left is the tail and after 30 mins, I decided to give it a rest.

I'm thinking...is it possible to superglue the blasted thing?

Kinda. If it was done right, it woulda been right the first time. And it took them long enough, almost a month and a half, and 3 calls to CS with no followup emails.

Though in all fairness, it's possible the delay of the replacement was due to that incomplete shipment they had last month...which is its own issue.

Anyone else having an issue with Granymr where the left arm pops off? I checked it's the proper tabs, but it's pops off every time I lift it up or down. Anyone having this?

I put my tail on by twisting it as I put it on. It wouldn't go straight in at first. Kinda like screwed it in til it caught. I wouldn't recommend supergluing it, but that's just me.

Mine did once, but I pushed it back in fairly firmly and it's been fine. Maybe not all the sides of the post are all the way in?
