What an odd complaint to have.

 

Well, aside from the trailer looking like it just got out of the pool... I really like it. I love how he folds up to form the head and chest. I was not expecting that. That honestly does more than the 3rd party bots that use the same idea.

I think it'll look so much better when completed. As-is it's fine. In vehicle and robot mode, it's honestly solid in my book.

I think this one will be fun. The Automorph features are just... *chef's kiss*

Question open to anybody who bought Legacy Motormaster from Big W already:

If I recall correctly, somebody from Hasbro said you "could" attach Combiner Wars limbs to Legacy Motormaster, but they don't hold on very well because Motormaster wasn't designed with backward compatiblity in mind.

Have you attempted using Motormaster as a Scramble City torso yet?

If so, how would you describe the connection stability between CW limb and Legacy torso?

With every pointless af 'PASS' and 'TRASH' post I'm left thinking 'Why bother? Who cares?'

 

The point for menasor was already missed when hasbro decided to base him off a frame rather than making the stunticons combiner limbs like all the previous combiners. This menasor is like armada optimus super mode for motormaster except less cool because its hollow and slim due to not it including the other stunticons. I still don't have any legacy stunticons but everyone praises their individual modes that i feel like displaying them in their "combined" mode or as i like to call them stunticon armor for the rest of time will be an injustice to them.

This is what you get with using the animation as a source. 2 of Menasor's 3 animation models are Motormaster is a frame the other stunticons attach too.

 

I'll agree that I'd like to see clip-on pieces that resemble the actual members, since they'll have just as much value as the actual members being there, but I don't see a better way to do a Sunbow-inspired Menasor. He's just a giant Motormaster wearing a helmet with cars attached to his limbs, that design sucks from the getgo. And the original toy isn't much better, with its toothpick-thin arms and legs.

 

Wow. That goes a long way towards changing my mind. So the trailer isn’t really too short so much as too tall, leading to the squared off look.

 

To be honest, it’s kinda sad that we’re at the point of arguing which commander class figure was less of a rip off.

 

Yep parts that pisses me off about motormaster is his feet resembling the front cab of the alt mode its so unnecessary that i hate it. The major part the pisses me off about menasor is that there isnt a possibility of displaying the stunticons infront of his shins without limiting the articualtion due to forced sunbow accuracy.

Instead of doing a sunbow menasor they shouldve remade their designs like cw menasor except this time make it stable.

Of course it's also clearly obvious that using less plastic in the packaging is a cost reduction measure first and "saving the environment" was at best a PR afterthought.

I just looked it up, and you're right, it does look a lot like one. There are even weird short versions of the trailer. That's honestly enough for me, so think I'll be fine if an upgrade kit never gets made.
... though I'd still like to have one.

 

I think Menasor will inherit a Siege Megatron sword if I find one before DNA or someone makes a kit for him.
