Who do you think was the most effective Autobot in TFA?

 

Grimlock nuff say.

 

Either Prowl or Optimus. Prowl recreated the Allspark, and Prime defeated Megatron and got 4 mainline toys.

5 if you count Supreme Prime. That's effective in Hasbro's eyes.  

 

Prowl with Optimus Prime in a close 2nd and Sentinal Prime in dead last

 

Depends on how you classify "effective".

Bulkhead built the Space Bridge without which saving the universe would've been impossible. Prowl recreated the All Spark, Prime defeated Megatron, and Ratchet saved Ultra Magnus' life. Ratchet's EMP Blast was also able to disable most opponents in a single shot when he chose to use it, which I'd say is pretty effective. And Bumblebee... did nothing...?

 

Blurr crossed the galaxy in a matter of hours....on foot.

Hmm...but then not much after that. Yeah, gonna have to go with Prowl or Prime, then.  

 

I'd say Sentinel Prime is quite effective at rallying the Autobots together, in order to accomplish absolutely nothing.

Other than that, and I hate to pick the obvious, but Optimus Prime really was one of the better members of the group. He's a very skilled fighter, and one of the more reasonable in his group. He's also good at reaching the members of his team, such as helping Prowl to stop being an antisocial loner, Ratchet to stop being such a grump, etc.

 

Prowl. For reasons already stated.  

Blurr was awesomely effective but was destroyed before he could prove this. -sniff- He was also plain awesome.

 

Without getting into the myriad of the meaning of effectiveness, I would say it's Optimus Prime.

 

Prowl or Ratchet.

 

1.) Optimus because he kicked Megatron's ass and because he was the only one who could stand up to that big lugnut.
2.) Rodimus Prime because he kicked nearly all of Team Charr's asses!
3.) Hot Shot: Who doesn't like the awsomeness of his flamethrowers?

 

I'm with you here, the awesomeness of flamethrowers and almost kicking Team charr's butt(s) ruled. Optimus and Prowl are tying so far. though Blurr seems to getting a lot of honorable mentions (if you want to call them that, he's at least making it on the list)

 

While Hot Shot was pretty awesome, you COULD HAVE said Jetfire. He has awesome flamethrowers, AND a twin. And who doesn't love twins?

Jetfire and Jetstorm were pretty effective too when they weren't goofing off. They took down the Dinobots and probably would've dealt with some of the Decepticons in Decepticon Air if they weren't forced to surrender.

But this could be just me. ^^

 

Rodimus! what? no I am not biased.

 

Longarm. He made it up the Autobot ladder despite being a Decepticon.

 

Ratchet. He was the one guy who kept everybody in operation conditon over the course of the whole series (along with saving Fanzone from Grandus and teh Magnus Hammer from both Shockwave AND Sentenel)

 

The fact he's a Decepticon means he belongs in the most effective Decepticon thread. ^^

Going from the main cast I'd say Prowl and Ratchet.

Prowl is very level headed and a bot Prime could depend on.

Ratchet was a very adequate warrior along with being a great Autobot medic.
