Watching transformers be declared “innocent” only to be fed to Sharkticons anyway. That threw me for a loop the first time I saw it.

 

Elita 1 being turned into a techno-organic was plain body horror

IDW Skids and the Teleporter. That really got me as it unravelled.

Roadfire story arc.

Roadfire hacked to pieces one of Violengiger's/Roadfire clones and took back his stolen "powered" matrixes/generators. The latter was dripping pink energon all over and he was like smiling over it all(the real Roadfire).

Topspin and Twintwist iirc were whispering/commenting in the background that though Roadfire is a jovial goodbot and all, you wouldn't want to cross him in battle.

Some of the Marvel comics artwork was pretty disturbing.

 

When I was younger, I remember seeing this picture in a guidebook and finding it disturbing.



I probably would have been freaked out by the violence and death in the '86 movie if I had seen it when I was younger, but my parents didn't let me and my sister watch it back then. They knew it was considered very violent, so they watched it while we were sleeping and didn't tell us, lol.

 

James Roberts making Mpreg canon by having Scorponok create a human-like baby with a stupid Decepticon symbol tattooed on its face. It came out of nowhere and went nowhere, it just.. happened. All that build-up and intrigue with the most idiotic and pointless pay-off.

 

Um what now? You mean a robot with some human-like features? Or a highly advanced Android?

 

Has anyone talked about The Pri¢e of Life yet? Cause if not it's frikkin' terrifying.

 

Look up the first born on tfwiki. Basically it's a humanoid decepticon growing inside a pod in scorponoks chest

 

Alot of what has already been mentioned, especially in MTMTE. It seems like Roberts was always trying to 1-up himself... it would've been hilarious if it hadn't been so horrific. Anything DJD disturbed me. There was just enough thrown in to let them seem like real characters, and then they'd turn on the murder again and it would be even worse than before... I really hope TF fiction sees them again.

Also the deaths of Trailcutter, Ambulon, Ravage, Astrotrain....

The transformation of Senator Shockwave, with his old head sitting in the foregound, eyeless and lidless...

The absolute NIGHTMARE that became of the Lost Light under Getaway... Up to and including Getaway's death. He was worse than most of the Decepticons put together.

Skids dying basically through psychological trauma. That one really hit me in an unexpected way.

 

Mtmte was a real heartbreaker, many characters I loved died in such horrible ways or just didn't get a "happy ending" RIP Ravage, Skids, Rewind(I) and (Senator)Shockwave

Of course people like Tarn, Star Saber and especially very especially Getaway got what they deserved in the end

 

One of the most disturbing moments for me was Inferno throwing Smokescreen out of the shuttle window in "Legacy of Unicron" and then crashing the shuttle. I was only very young when I read the comic and for some reason it really disturbed me. A lot of the UK comics had disturbing scenes I think. Fake Prime ripped apart by the Predacons, Death's Head crushing Shockwave's brain module, the Dinobot stuff in "Victory".

Of course who can forget the moment Prime dies in the '86 movie. The specific, disturbing moment is when he has gone grey and he is dead, but his head turns to the side. Brrr....

 

G2 had a few disturbing scenes itself.
