Had a few minor qc issues on mine, but nothing too major.
Not enough glue on one of the ankle pieces and the left forearm, so half of the left forearm gauntlet pops off.
Other than that though, no big problems.

Arrived in 5 days :)  will start panel lining this weekend.

Hadn't got the time to fiddle with yellow but the overall feel is really good.

I can't decide which ride armor to buy. Rand was my favourite character in the series and the one I had as a kid, but I like more the design and color of Yellow's bike. Yellow might also be a bit better qc wise from what I'm hearing, but it would cost me 210 euro while Rand only 170. Argh.

Get what you love and not what is cheaper. It will all work out in the end.

^^ What he said. You gotta be happy with your purchase. As long as the Rand version is good to go (no QC issues), then I'd say go with that. And later on, if you get the bug to get them all, you can still get Stig :D

Thanks for the advice! In the end, Amazon.jp solved the problem for me with a discount on Yellow that put the price at 175 euro, so next week I'll have a blue transforming motorcycle in my home. Maybe if I really really really like him, I'll think about Ray too.

Then you'll hunt down Stig and finally Houquet (when Sentinel decides to get around to it). Not to mention the Legioss… c'mon, it's a great time to collect Mospeada! :D

Ahahah, I really hope that won't be the case and I'll manage to get only one bike, one Legioss and maybe one tread. Truth to be told, I'm expecting it will take me some time to truly warm towards this figure, since I like to play and from every review I saw playability it's really its weakest point. But in the end the concept of a motorcycle that turns into an armor is just too cool to pass. As a huge Robotech fan in my childhood, I'm glad Sentinel is giving us these figures for our collections.

Any of you guys seeing the same issue with your ride armors as some users at Macross World are reporting? Stress marks /breaks on the left side, on the rotating joint for the chest connection?

I picked up a blowsperior, haven’t transformed it yet, and there’s a faint one visible. Thinking of returning it. Kind of bummed because I would really like Lancer and Rook on my shelves.

Nothing at all on my Ray and Stick. One tiny, very faint one on one side of Yellow. It does not look like anything out of the ordinary, or in anyway worrisome. That kind of stress line is often seen on pinned hinges.

Anyway, it's worth noting that both my Mospeada's are first issue, and that hinge is fairly loose, so that if flops around on its own when not tabbed in. On Yellow, it's pretty snug, and will hold its position. I'm guessing Sentinel over-corrected and made the joints too tight, so the pin stretches it. I'd also guess that those who have the issues on the Mospeadas have the reissues with the updated tolerances.

Checked my Yellow, doesn't seem to have stress marks out of the box but I have yet to transform from bike to armor. I moved the joints quite a bit to check them from different angles, though. I'll keep an eye on it to see if it develop a cracks or stress marks with time.

I have a breakage on that hinge on my Rei but it was likely my fault putting too much pressure on it while transforming it.

Finally had some time to transform my copy of the blowsuperior. Nothing broken, but one of the plastic pieces known for cracking had a stress mark out of the box. Posing him with the bigger arm guards is also a real pain. However, he looks aces and is a fine display piece.

That reminds me, I gotta check mine for the stress mark.

Question: Didn't some company make a toy (or kit) of the Legioss with rotate-able forearms? One thing that's always driven me nuts about the Legioss toys and kits is that the forearm-thruster always has to be on the underside of the forearm and can't be on the side of the forearm (aligned with the back of the hand). Did I hallucinate this, or is there in fact a toy/kit that can do this?

So far I checked my Stick and Rey and Stick has a very slight stress mark on the left side and Rey is a clean with no issues.

CM's Legioss can. It's like the one thing that's really great about it. Also, The earliest, resin protos of Sentinel's showed it could, but it doesn't look like the final can.

Huh. OK, thanks. I've been poking around and it looks like maybe the coming Riobot Legioss can do it? Oh wait, Riobot is Sentinel, isn't it? Sigh...
