At this point, I would say wait it out for a reissue or next variant. Most likely they will make necessary tweaks to improve it (like they did with the Ride Armour). :)

I think the arms are ok but the back doesn't close up to cover the nosecone all the way, it doesn't even look like it's lined up properly.

Can you push the wing hinges in towards the body more? My wings didn't conceal the nose cone when I went through first transformation. In fact it just folded in and beside the nose cone. But once I locked the nose cone in place, squeezed the wings in towards the body more, it came to a very nice, clean back.

I tried and I'll try a little more but I'm not going to force it on a $230 figure that will probably never be seen from the back.

How much better were the revised Ride-Armors vs. the original release? I still have a OG one unopened and am wondering if I should bother.

Speaking of, is there a good way to tell the difference between the original and the revised Ride Armors? I’m kind of regretting not picking one up when they were around. That Yellow is a good price but I only really want Stick.

Most retailers had Reissue labeled. I can drag them out and see if I can tell the difference. I think Ray was already solid? I have both versions but only opened the V1 and it’s perfect in every way. I bought up in anticipation of them selling out. But I only have one Stick reissue MISB... this is my favorite toy / anime / mecha whatever so I went a little bananas. I just bought a 3rd yellow and I need a third Ray. I want to display both ways and have one MISB in case I break something else. I sheared off a handle-bar peg on Stick V1 and I still haven’t forgiven myself.

So bad... I'm actually considering buying one... Just because I love the ride armors. The only thing that is preventing me from doing so is that they decided to make their version look a bit different than the cartoon. I know that they are minor, but that kept me from buying one when Stick's came out. But man, it is hard to resist since they look really REALLY good.

That's the only one I have. Like many here, my only reference point for this toy was Robotech New Generation and as a kid I thought a motorcycle that turns into bad-ass armor was just about the coolest thing I'd ever seen. When these new versions started coming out I skipped Stick because of the lukewarm reviews, but then came back around last year to pre-order Yellow to give it a chance. Got a great price from Amazon Japan (18,500 JPY shipped). I'm glad I have one, not sure I really need more though - not that they are available now anyway! Maybe if they reissue I'll reconsider.... :p

Yeah I’m curious if the box says anything different as I won’t be buying one from a retailer (unless something pops up on Manda) so I’ll have to rely on packaging cues and seller honesty.

I’m fairly certain I’ll buy a second Stick Legioss if/when it gets reissued. I know I was harsh on it at first but damnit I wanted it to be perfect after so many years of substandard toys. Hard not to have passionate feelings about it good or bad! It’s grown on me immensely though, warts and all.

Me too I know the tolerances will be good on the second release. I bought two Stick Ride-Armors out of the gate, I didn’t make that mistake on Legioss. But locking the torso in Soldier mode was night and day for me. Mospeada is definitely a franchise I need the fours main characters for I have to have a Rook Ride-Armor. I am in for all the Legioss.

The Rook Ride Armor needs to be released ASAP. The display can work with Stick and Rey, but once you have Lancer you need all four.
