Wow. This issue. WOW. Just when you think it can't get better they pull THIS. This issue is HUGE, with both personal drama and larger plot stuff happening, making you even wonder about some of the things in LSOTW! Absolutely mindblowing!

I wonder if Rung is ACTUALLY dead though. Something about it felt off. Though who knows with this comic?   Gah, I LOVE all the left turns it's taking!

Also, I was expecting Grimlock at the end there. Seeing HIM...Holy SHIT. I wonder why he is saying that stuff though. What happened to him? OR is it just being stripped of his weapons and being helpless that got to him?

If I were to guess, it would have to do with

his utter humiliation and defeat at the end of LSOTW. He got humbled pretty bad, destroyed down to his skeleton by a team of 'bots that WASN'T Megatron, and then found out that the last three years had been a waste of time because not only had Megatron been downed, but he hadn't cared enough to actually pursue him.

Overlord's ego got completely shattered by the fight, and he's likely lost his reason to live.

he is, however I don't believe that it's the end of his influence on this story. Especially with a mnemosurgeon on board. The little guy still has a lot to offer imo, even in death.

Moving away from that though, Whirl is magnificent in this issue, I was laughing my head off at him, and yet

his back story is quite sad, all he wanted was a quiet life. Interesting that he changed his name and became a Flight Instructor, with his rage issues, I wonder if he ever taught Rotorstorm?

Splitlip is one of quite possibly several people who almost had the issue spoiled because of your inconsiderate attitude. Show some common courtesy and don't be a dick.

 

Split Lip, I really don't know why you'd even be in this thread if you didn't want spoilers. I get wanting to see peoples reactions. I do that too. But after the first couple posts of people flipping the fuck out over the awesome I'd avoid this topic like a plague until I'd read it. Actually that's exactly what I did.

I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything but it just seems odd for a person to enter a thread about a topic they don't want spoiled.

Were I the moderator I'd probably put in the first post a spoiler warning for the entire thread: Enter at your own risk, then only do normal mod duties. That said, I'll be considerate and use spoiler tags since that is what is requested in this thread. I know I wouldn't want things spoiled for me, hence why I don't enter threads about topics I don't want spoiled.

 

To get reactions then leave.

Like I said, it worked really well until I just happened to scroll down and my cursor just happened to be in the exact spot the spoiler was. I'm not blaming anyone, it was an accident. In fact, if it weren't for that accident I could have read the entire thread and not be spoiled. Pretty much everything is under tags.
