It always sucks coming to the party late, but I really enjoyed this comic. Loved Rodimus getting advice from Magnus, it definitely seemed like a throwback to the old 1984--er, 1986 days. Hopefully Kup comes back somehow, I hate how he was sacrificed in Infestation (although the implementation with his flashbacks was awesome), but that's neither here nor there.

I guess I'm glad Milne kept the general style as well, although I preferred the colors in #1 for some reason. I just wish it was a little less washed out.

Does anyone know, when you go digital can you view them on a windows computer or does it have to be iphone/ipad? I may go digital and buy the TPBs too.

This is Milne's concept art for him. According to his DeviantArt comments, James requested Rung's alt mode to be weird and hard to figure out.

 

Dear Primus, I had already imagined him as a remold/repaint partner with Scrounge because of their spindly robot forms but WOW that alt mode just makes it PERFECT.

I hearby demand a Rung/Scrounge mold in Generations next year!

Excellent issue, I don't think I could say anything that hasen't been said here already. I do have a question though, on the last page Red Alert said they "Bought the ship". Who exactly did they buy it from? And maybe this is part of what I believe is Prowls plan with this business with the "sparkstealer" (which if it is, makes him waaaaayyyyy more ruthless than I gave him credit for).

 

Some of the returning Nails at a guess, he said he thought it was a Neutral ship.

 

This series is just so damn good so far. Characters that have character. I love the dialogue and love the story.

As it stands, it's easily my favorite of the two ongoings. While I liked the first issue of RID, it didn't jump off the page the way this one does.

 

This series is fantastic!

This Skids totally makes me forget about Skids from the movies.
