    Howdy team...

I also did a quick repaint on the Hasbro Rhinox cannons...
Very easy to paint, and looks worlds better!

Hey no problem...this is pretty simple, and a perfect little project to tackle for a first timer...

As far as paint goes...literally any acrylic brand will work...I use everything from Tamiya paints to the Apple Barrel paints you buy at Wal-Mart...I am not picky...YMMV.
I took some green and yellow...mixed them, and came up with the shade of light green that looked good to my eye.
I also used flat black, and a flat aluminum.

I painted the green center ring first. After that dried, I used the silver/aluminum on the outer blade/wheel thingy.
After the silver, I went back and painted the center barrels, and outer mace looking thingys with the flat black. After the black was dry, I used the silver again, and drybrushed the black parts.

I used a picture posted here on the boards somewhere that compared the Hasbro Rhinox to the Takara version for reference.

That was it! I did this all while my son was taking a nap...so maybe 3-4 hours total sitting on the couch in front of the TV.

    Hope that helps!

Excellent work. This sounds like something I'll try for myself when I see Rhinox up here in Canada. :]
