His head needs to be removed to transform? Optibotimus successfully transformed him without taking his head off in his review.

If it just uses the titanmaster connection couldn't you just glue it in place without losing the neck articulation?

Nitro and Scorn is the latest items to release? Nothing else? This line end up really quick.

At least one new molded Decepticon could be released.

Mine has to be removed. If I touch the panel where his neck post goes, his head comes.flying off. Perhaps it's just mine and Baltmatrix's that have this problem, but it's a legit issue

The problem with that is, it's that rubbery plastic. It's soft enough to give, but not strong enough to hold it all together. I'd think glue would eat through it.

Nah. This kind of toy plastic is not destroyed by glue.

But fear not, since this kind of plastic also rejects all glue. :X

So can you tell us how well a regular titan master head fits on Nitro Zeus' neck? Thanks!

Could someone explain how a titan master's head peg work? I think I remember seeing a mod here, that involved putting DOTM Shockwave's head on Nitro Zeus

@TFXProtector I cant speak to your copy but my Nitros head isnt connected by a rubbery plastic. As for head popping off issues, i find that is solved when it is connected with its neck facing the front of the robot mode. The neck is where the titan masters face normally is. Ive transformed mine back and forth wuite a bit without having to remove the head at all. While he has the headmaster compatibility i wouldnt call him a partsformer by any means.

That sucks. Maybe Nonnef will make a filler piece that could go around the socket to apply pressure.

The port's the exact same size, so pretty much all the Titan Masters should fit in there just fine. (I haven't tried them all, too many to work with. lol)

The TM post is hard plastic, but the plate where the neck post rests is a hard rubber plastic that's flexible. Because of this, his head pops out because there's not enough pressure to hold the head in place.

As for being a partsformer, the head, wings and thruster caps (where the missiles attach to the back pack in robot mode) all come off on mine, no matter how delicate I am with it. It's really annoying.

I'm sure some received a better figure than I did and I can certainly understand why they like it, but mine's definitely botched.

The peg on most Titan master bodies ( rather the tiny head is on a ball joint) so I can be secured to shockwaves head. It was also pointed out that there is another connector on shapeways that's cheap and has a tighter hold it's a very easy mod.

Looks like the Takara release, and there DOES appear to be a gun above his right shoulder.

Honestly, it looks like the shoulder is misstransformed, look how the shoulder is connected with that piece.

Half of what you're seeing is just the box art. The gun is just the upper half.

Here's the full pic, also, it's definitely not part of the figure, definitely looks like a mini version of his gun from the movie.
