I'm a little confuzzed. Studio Series has been always Bayformers characters, but we're also getting characters that never appeared in the films at all like Kup and Blurr. Unless Hasbro said something that SS doesn't have to be about the LA characters, it's a little weird to follow.

Maybe it's a sign that they're going for the Transformers 2009 Don Figueroa look? It would be a neat change of pace.

 

So I looked at the listing again. The Bumblebee on the list I believe it's for B127.

Some people suggest it but I dont feel like we should expect some of the SS86 figures to be repaints of WFC molds, I'd like to imagine that a hypothetical SS86 would have a different aesthetic, likely little to no 5mm ports, no 3mm nubs, likely a smooth cartoon like surface appearance however a look that can mesh well with WFC ER.

I'd also like to think that Hasbro would not double dip, for example, releasing a SS86 Rodimus and a WFC3 Rodimus, seems like that would be counterintuitive, now if they spread them out by a few years, that would make more sense but these are all just guesses. Until we visually see a SS86 figure, we have no idea what aesthetics they are going for

 

Now I just need Blaster, and I can have all of my reasonable wants out of the way.

 

Ah, crap. Now I think this is where that rumoured Earth mode Ultra Magnus will be released.

Also, it doesn't make sense for Bumblebee to be released on the 1986 line-up since he didn't really have a role at all in that movie (For some reason). I think even Cliffjumper was more important there.

That would make very few people happy.

But also no dude, no offense, but I think that this being Studio Series, this may finally be our chance at a no trailer perfect transformation Rodimus Prime!   I mean the weird battle platform trailer is ok, but it would be so rad to have a small Leader sized space Winnebago that crunches up into a decent Rodimus Prime figure! Also hope, hope, hope Hasbro doesn’t screw up the colors this time, we’ve had way too many fire engine red/red calved Hot Rod’s lately, counting Cyberverse. He’s magenta, with dark grey or gunmetal calves

Rumors in the MP spec thread are also possibly hinting at MP Jazz. I don't know, I'm feeling uncharacteristically optimistic.

 

pontiac won’t allow their licensed IP to be used. Takara has tried several times to but they refuse.

 

I might have a theory we're getting a G1 Jazz in this line. This could be in general for most of this Studio Series add-on. They're making room for Part 3.

Blurr would have to be pretty freaking amazing to dethrone the Legends version.

Jazz. Huh. I wouldn't have thought they'd do him for SS86 if this is him (he had such minimal screen time), but it doesn't really make sense to be Bay Jazz, he was done pretty recently wasn't he? (unless they did a battle damaged variant)

 

I hope Bumblebee is a Cliffjumper retool.

I hope these TFTM releases give us Hot Rod soon.
