If you're talking the movie: TR specifically had Galvatron, Scourge, Blurr, Hot Rod, Kup, Wheelie, and Gnaw. Arcee was in a Con exclusive set. There was also PotP with Rodimus, the Dinobots, and Wreck-Gar. Cyclonus and Magnus got figures in CW.

Wreck-Gar was also in CW as a Legends size. Blaster's tapes (Rewind & Ramhorn were in TR) and Wreck-Gar are the only new characters from the movie who had toys in 1986 who aren't listed in Studio Series or Kingdom.

Widening the net to existing characters - we haven't seen anything for the Insecticons, Windcharger (dead bots count), the Constructions/Devastator, Brawn, Perceptor, Blaster, Blitzwing, and Swoop, Sludge and Snarl.

Edit: adding my two cents - Wreck-Gar seems like the best bet. If we go outside the newbies then i'd have to say Blitzwing or Devastator and i really want a new WFC style Blitzwing

I'd be surprised if we didn't get Wreck Garr eventually.

Studio series was meant for celebrating live action movie figures, and it should stay that way.

Using G1 figures in live action movie based line is not good. It would potentially keep away the releases of several bayverse figures for much later, since the designers are focusing on churning out those G1 figures, delaying releases of the likes of Crosshairs or Hound or Skids or Mudflap, just to name a few. G1 does not belong in this line. I like some G1 designs, and I’d like to see them in a separate line with separate box art. Each line has a thing, a defining feature. I don’t mean any disrespect to G1 though. But when those fans cry about how our bayverse toys have been going on since 2007, I have to somewhat feel pain.
What is that image of Jazz you may ask? Just one of the examples of what we got back then. Small figures. Horribly inaccurate, figures. Blackout and DOTM megatron? Probably the best versions of them were in SS. The before versions? White, and brown and gray blue. Horrible versions of those colors at that. And we’re underdeserving? I don’t think anyone shouldn’t get the updated toys they need... but sheesh, nostalgia has its negative effects.

Where was that ever said? It's called Studio series, not Paramount Studio Series.

We're running out of live action characters to make. It's also hard to keep a line alive on obscure characters the majority of people don't remember. Adding G1 into Studio Series actually increases the likelihood of lesser known Bayverse characters getting released alongside more marketable G1 dudes.

For the characters that first appeared in the '86 movie, there's Wheelie, Gnaw, Blurr, Scourge, Hot Rod, Kup, and Galvatron.

EDIT: Didn't see it was already answered.

Is Wheelie the one '86 character not getting a remake? On account of the minifigure coming with Grimlock.

Technically that would be considered a new figure even if it's a static one.

I'm so stoked to see Kup, is it possible that after 30 plus years they finally made one that looks like the cartoon character in both simple modes??

Yet there is still many characters still not made. Many collectors would love to get obscure characters, just because they are obscure doesn’t mean they won’t sell well. G1 has its fair share of obscure characters too. I got that information from the Transformers Wiki, although the reliability of that source is questionable.

The message you're replying to literally made the point that adding in G1 Movie characters will extend the life of the line and increase the likelyhood they'll actually get obscure Bayverse figures to sell decently alongside them.

has there been a rumor that it's a static minifigure instead of an actual like legends-ish sized one?

I said it’s possible. Scrapmetal is fairly obscure, as he doesn’t appear in his toy’s robot mode in the movie, as he uses Scrapper’s model. SS scrapmetal is very overpriced on eBay and Amazon
