Yep, and even at 5 waves, Siege still technically finished up in 12 months
I know I'm way too late for this but the Mirage figure has got to be a Ferrari toy. I'll explain the reasons
1. The Mattel(Hasbro's greatest competitor) and Ferrari toy licensing has been expired back in 2014
2. Back when the movie came out, Ferrari didn't want their Transformer be named after any existing Hasbro Transformers, thus they named him Dino. If the figure that's releasing wasn't a Ferrari figure, Hasbro could've easily named him Mirage, as they did with the previous figures. They also went with Mirage in the comics and Dark of the Moon game.
I really hope I'm correct. I really don't want to see another Sideways retool. If I'm wrong, I guess I'll go with Firage to complete my SS DotM cast
Some Chinese toy company has the toy rights to Ferrari.
I know that. What I meant was that now that Hasbro's competitor does not have rights to produce Ferrari toys(Mattle wouldn't allow it at all) there is a higher chance that we can in fact get Ferrari Transformer.
This is the only commander I’d buy
It's not that Mattel wouldn't allow it.
They had worldwide exclusive rights to produce Ferrari toys.
Then in 2014, those rights were given to the Chinese company that produces the Maisto brand of die-cast cars.
If they still have them, then either Dino/Mirage is a different car, or he's not made.
Wait, hasn't Mattel continued to make Hot Wheels Ferraris since then?
No, and people are still complaining that they can't get any Ferrari cars
Wait...there's a character named Dino...and he turns into a car? Why is his name Dino if he's not a Dinobot?
He's named after Alfredo Ferrari. The son of automaker Enzo Ferrari. Alfredo's nickname was Dino.
More specifically, he's named after the model of car named after Alfredo Ferrari, the Ferrari Dino, which Autobot Dino's alternate mode, the 458, is something of a successor to.
Noooo I like the studio series line with just bayformers!! G1 is great and all, but I like the idea where it’s just a bafyormers you line. Bumblebee movie is an exception, of course.
86 movie figure listings have already leaked for studio series.

They put big disappointment when they do something like this.
Honestly it was 15 months for Siege
Siege wave 5 released in December, so the line was still completed within 12 months, which is what I said.
Siege came out in October of 2018(in the US for what I remembered) and finished off in December of 2019
Pretty sure it was scheduled to start in December 2018/January 2019. Both Power of the Primes and Siege were scheduled to be 12 month lines that spanned a single calendar year. An excerpt from tfwiki reads "Siege toys debuted at the tail end of October 2018 with the Voyager Class available from U.S. comic stores and private dealers, followed up by Battle Masters at Target on November 4, 2018." so you are correct that it first came out in October, however comic stores and private dealers don't usually count as regular retail and Target habitually gets stuff early. Neither of those factors alters the fact that it was only scheduled to be a 12 month line. Stores just put stock out early, kind of like how Greasepit and Exhaust were sold by sellers before hasbro even announced them.
Makes you wonder though; why would Hasbro let Michael Bay put a Ferrari character in the movie in the first place when they know the situation with Ferrari's toy rights.
