Well, it's an ancient Digi and it's on the old body, but for some reason the Screamer design looks kinda neat in Waspinator colors.

 

You know Bayformers Starscream, does kinda remind me of Waspinator. I could totally see that.

Thank god I'm not the only one that thought Movie!Screamer looks like Waspinator.

I would buy the hell out of that because that digibash is amazing.

 

Badass, if slightly mistransformed in the shoulders and waist armour.

 

Never seen that before, but yes!, That's what I'm talking about! There's even a poetic weirdness to it since Waspy was possessed by G1 Screamer.

Mold it mostly in dark Emerald green plastic with light translucent blue for the eyes and canopy.

Some gold trim on fighter mode and lots of gold details/trim for bot mode. (Or maybe even just keep the tattoo pattern but paint in on in gold rather than black, and replace the Decepticon emblem with a predacon sigil.)

I don't have the time or skills to digibash the bot mode, but this was one of my (admittedly lame) ideas for how the fighter could look:

 

Not only is he very poseable, but for some reason, I really love the poses he was put in for these pics! Seeing Screamer meditating is pretty hillarious, and that last one looks like he's over-dramatizing getting fragged. Very creative!

I wasn't digging the toy up until recently because of all the "cyber-tribal" all over him, but like may others, it's really growing on me. The mould is DEFINITLEY a huge improvement!

...now if only they would do something about Devestator's hotdog neck/head. LOL!

Im just not liking this figure for some reason.

 

I say base the paint off the transmetal Waspy. It shows how the jet could work.

 

Starscream can meditate??? That does it, I just can't find any more excuses to not get this figure. Must own.

 

Nice pics. Too bad I probably won't get him anyway. I spent way too much on TF1's toys and I want to try not to get wrapped up in all of the ROTF stuff as well. I'm already looking at putting down some coin with Soundwave, Devastator (one or both, still not sure), and possibly Ravage. Even Jetfire is tempting, but more because I love SR-71's than the character.

 

Pity they couldn't give him a wrist swivel so he can make a pose with his arm other than holding a limp wrist out at you. Looks cool aside from that, but I don't see why they had to gimp his arm articulation.

 

That, and they could've given him some extra movement in his hand. But no biggie, still looks awesome.

 

I didn't like it at first(mostly because of the legs, I prefer the original's) but it's really starting to grow on me. I wonder what the repaints will be like.

 

I thought it was a little weird they used the old mold for Ramjet/Skywarp. I wonder if they'll repaint this one silver like Deep Space SS. That would look pretty cool.

 

Awesome! I really ♥ the mold they gave Starcream. XD Though i would have changed the tribal markings.
