IMO, these are better than the redecos we got during Cybertron (Sunstorm, Excellion, GFOP...though Galvatron was pretty good). I'm looking forward to all of these.

Wow, amazing how fans differ in opinion on things. To me it's just a repaint of the worst toy in the entire LOC series because of the stumpy arms.

 

That Whirl looks nothing like the original (duh), but man, that is one nice deco. Wasn't a huge fan of Evac's colors once we saw more of him, but a full-size Whirl repaint somewhere down the road wouldn't be the worst thing in the world (albeit, such a repaint would have nowhere to go until after the movie).

Once I eventually catch up on the Cybertron LOCs, I'll be sure to snatch these as well. Despite the shortcomings of the LOCs, they're just cool to have around. It's a bit like collecting gashapon or Japanese candy toys - gotta catch 'em all.

Seems more clearly like a mini-version of Cybertron Optimus Prime to me.
