    Not ragging on the design, but Sentinel Prime looks a little top-heavy. All you need is a little push to fell him. :D

    I think the designs are pretty cool! I can't wait to see the toy versions.

    yes im interested to see how the toys will come out. I know they will get a big push in 08. I just hope we actually get to see some of them considering it seems like its harder to get them out of stores backrooms.

    Both Magnus and Sentinel's alt. modes are badass.

    Sentinel's robot mode looks like a cross between Apocalypse and Buzz Lightyear, but that's just me. Either way he looks awesome.

    I think his obnoxious alt mode and robot mode fit his character.

    He is suck a dick, I think it will be hilarious.

    And we have seen every friggin other character but Chinlock? Come on guys, work harder!!!!

    Clearly there are a considerable amount of posters in this thread that didnt see the leaked UM robot mode and are deliberatly refusing to look at the the Sentinal Prime robot mode........there are no ifs, whats or buts about it Sentinal Prime=Plow Truck and Ultra Magnus=Military Vehicle.

    Sentinel Prime's design worries me. If they pull it off, it could look great, but if THAT MUCH of the toy becomes his shoulders, he could have major balance and movement problems.

    And you can see Swoop's body through his wings.... interesting. I wonder if this means that his toy's wings will be made of transparent plastic?

    If sentinel prime is a dick, then that robot mode fits. And I love swoop's robot mode, but the beast mode just looks like his legs push in and his arms go out to the side.

    He is a parody of the ideal american superhero. Strong square chins is the design associated with heroic men, and so is upper body build. Pointed chins are associated with villians. It is basic character design.

    Look at designs like Mr. Incredible, the Tick, Buzz Lightyear and the Crimson Chin. all 3 of these characters are OVER THE TOP personifications of the american hero archtype.

    This is why SP looks how he does, to convey the emotion of an extreme hero. While Optimus shares the design, he is not overexaggerated in it.

    What I meant was that if you think SP looks like The Tick, then I'd bet my bottom dollar the resemblance is intentional: SP's voice actor is Townsend Coleman, who was also the voice of The Tick.
