It's nice to finally see the Deluxe Ironhide mold...even if the first version of it we see is a different character, lol... Looks like that'll possibly be two more in-show characters sharing the same design. Assuming they both make appearances, it should be interesting to see which one will be the minor character, and which one will be the major one. The deco and what I can see of the head sculpt looks nice. Part of me wants to get him, but use him as a Classics Brawn. Hopefully this means that the Cyberverse Ironhide figure will get a similar repaint at some point.

Rumble looks pretty cool. Since I'm concentrating on Cyberverse stuff for my Prime collection, I doubt I'll get him. Though if he could be worked into my Classics collection, I'll consider him. Also, things like this usually take me a while to notice, but just after my first glance at him I can already see the face in his chest.

Um, a grand total of one (FOC Starscream) of these are a part of the "40 molds". None of the Asia-exclusive "Classics" are a part of the 2013 Generations line. And Kup and Rumble are part of Prime/RID, not Generations.

No one knows that for sure yet. It may indeed turn out to be the case that at least some if not all these since they are based on classics or generations characters may end up being part of that 40. After all who would have thought the movie line would be canceled and an asia exclusive? Or the prime fe being pulled then being told opps those were not ment for you.

I hate the fact that the G1 Leader Starscream is Asia exclusive. Not sure about the Ironhide yet.

The only thing that throws me off about Kup, and by extension Ironhide, is that he has a nose, which runs counter to the whole "no noses" thing Prime generally has going on.

Like shit. I'd rather use ROTF Brawn as my classics Brawn, at this point. We'll see what the pics actually look like though....

So many new figures & how many do I want? Not a single one of them. How can that be? What the hell is wrong with me...

I SO want Rumble and the Ironhide mold. Kup, not so much actually.
But a re-release of FE Bulkhead with a new head? Maybe we can switch out the heads and repaint them...
And wait, if Generations IS getting a Voyager line now, WHY ISN'T FOC OPTIMUS VOYAGER?

^ Only in Asia. For all we know they will be in Prime packaging.

I think that framing Generations as an all-Deluxe line is essential to get US retailers to bite on it. So sometimes Hasbro winks at us by putting stuff like Grapple into a different line. I imagine this can be compared to what Hasbro Asia is doing here.

That makes me really hope they do a voyager FOC Grimlock and slip it into the Prime line.

^ Can't see that happening. There is a 0% chance that an in-show Prime Grimlock would simply lift the video game design. And Grimlock & the Dinobots are probably too big for the Prime creative team to want to give up on, even if there aren't immediate plans to use them. Of course stranger things have happened...

Swerve and Wheelie are maybes. it depends on the finished product.
Hotspot is cool, but he is useless, cause he's not the combiner he should be. i'll wait for a third party to fix that. all the rest are passes, don't care about prime figures, they are too...pointy, i don't like their 'look' much like i don't like movie figures. but thats me, to each his own. and for those complaining about not being able to get the asia releases... hello, the internet. yes, it will cost more to get an import figure, but there are many sites that offer them, and if its a figure you REALLY want, you can still get it. you need not throw your hands up in defeat, you just have to dig deep and ask yourself if the price is worth it to you.
