Why "vs" Eject?

to avoid the red v. blue frenzy/rumble debate (siege rumble is red, so frenzy would be blue) the poster said he wanted a blaster and his tapes VS the blue decepticon tape aka frenzy

 

So yeah, I'm on the same boat as the people who want Megatron to be a "submarine", lol. But in all seriousness, if we can get one more Megatron toy where he turns into a gun, I will never ask Hasbro for anything like that ever again... unless they make Treadshot.  

 

What debate? Hasbro already decided which one is which in WFC.

 

I'll take a "submarine" over an Energon Megatron homage. I have Energon Galvatron and trying to make a current voyager, even if it's just as big as the Studio Series ROTF Megatron(which is a big voyager), it'd be a hard uphill battle to do the Energon Megatron mold any justice. From the detail to transformation and gimmicks. And yes I'm aware Takara used a smaller one. Point still stands.

I think a submarine or homage to the Animated helicopter is more likely.

An Energon-inspired Megatron would be nice (in keeping with the all recent UT homages), but personally I keep hoping for a Generations-style take on Animated Megatron.

 

I honestly don't see the issue with getting more Megatron figures. People vote with their wallets. As long as Megatron figures sell, HasTak will keep making more. His absence in POTP was surprising, though. (not to mention being a main character in the heavily flawed animated series). He got 3 figures in Siege alone. Would expect at least 1 in Earthrise.

 

If we are indeed getting another tank in the G2 style, I would prefer him in the classic Megatron color scheme. It's not the design itself of the G2 Megs I dislike - it's the colors. I don't care for them, and he definitely wouldn't look good posing with Optimus like that IMO. Or if they are going to do the G2 colors, perhaps they could give us a Selects edition or something like that with the classic colors. I could live with that.

I am hoping for Blaster too. Since there is - perhaps - the possible of getting a few more Cybetronian alt modes, I would love that to be the case with him, so that I can pit him against my Siege Soundwave. I would still buy him as a boom box though.

 

He was trying to avoid getting into an argument with anyone about it, a vs pack with the “blue guy” when eject was already named was very obviously frenzy, but there are still sunbow loyalists that will always say he is rumble (despite as I myself already pointed out that rumble is red in wfc).

I'm okay with EarthRise Megatron forming a non-H tank with better articulation than SIEGE Megatron(at least on par with SIEGE Prime) and slathered in silver paint.

 

See, they’ve kinda screwed up by not making Siege Megatron be styled after the FOC, WFC or War Within Megs, or at least a hovertank-thing. They’ve left themselves in a difficult situation where no collector is going to buy ANOTHER tank Megs less than a year and a half since the last one, for some it’s even sooner. The Cybertronian one looked Earthy in its shaping, so what’s the actual earth tank gonna be? I’d hope for a “submarine” or just an Energon/Animated Megs, either would be great.

 

I totally forgot how menacing Cybertron Megs looked...this pic brings back memories...I sold mine in the cataclysmic purge of 2007/2008

 

and when you don’t get it because they are never going to do a gun mode are you gonna keep asking for it or just move one and accept that he’s not a gun and that time has passed

 

If we get a really good realistic earth tank mode I’ll be satisfied.

Out of all the designs you listed, I would only want a WWI design. But that’s just my preference. I don’t think Hasbro is gonna do another ‘Cybertronian’ design for Megs in Earthrise.
