    (couldn't find the previous thread.)

There're several glaring omissions, which some of you may want to take note of if you're looking for the real thing in the future.

At least this seller admits it's not the real thing.... others may not be so forthcomming.

A small correction - the picture is not a comparison between a real Prime and the knockoff - the seller is providing you with the opportunity to purchase either version at the close of the auction. They're both knockoffs.

"You have a choice of either the original color or the blue eyes and chest version. Winner bidder please indicate your choice in an email."

I was about to point this out, but it looks like I was about 10 minutes too late.

Nevertheless, I hope the people who bid knew what they were getting and didn't just have an itchy trigger finger when they saw a MISB G1 Prime.

IF it were cheaper, this would've been a great way for one to get a cheap New Year Convoy. Oh well, I'm definitely happy with my NYC :D

I'm still amazed at this bootleg. Toss aside the ethical issues that come along with this and look at the product only ... wow.

For some strange reason I'm interested in seeing how the other variants they're going to offer will look. The good thing is that the seller does state that they're not originals.

If this was about a hundred dollars cheaper I'd have one myself. I'm sure if you wait though you'd get a new year convoy for around that price anyway.

Now if they want to make a knock off fort max to full G1 specifications - that I'd spend $150 on.

Too much money for a knockoff, but they look pretty good. I just wouldn't pay that much for something that isn't the original. The auction does state they're fakes and not the original though.

I'm having a damn hard time spotting the differences between these and the original (and I'm holding my New Year Prime next to the picture)

    Sofar I've spotted:
    1. Silver paint missing on the edges of the helmet ornament (hmm, only on the blue chested KO though...)
    2. The smokestacks widen in a straight edge instead of a gradient
    3. The circular molded lights in the bumper don't have a contour

    Am I missing something obvious?

Why are people buying these when the New Year's reissue is typically going for less, is it just for the box?

Although, I will be interested in seeing the clear version.
