    Got my Animated Bumblebee today.

It's made from a softer plastic than Bulkhead (with some die cast parts in it). Bumblebee is very posable. You can pull every limb in almost every direction. It got some ball joints and looks more fragile than Bulkhead.
Another thing is in the instruction sheet it says you can click the blue "lasers"on every arm totally in its arm. It's not possible, it stays sticking out a little. Still can't figure out why.
    Enjoy the pics!

bit of a shame that he's so huge compared to Bulkhead, and that they had to use a false car roof for his chest.

Cause the plastic wasn't glued on the card. It's was taped so with a hobby knife I could cut it loose very nicely. Hope Hasbro keeps it that way!

Great fig and he probably cut the bubble with a knife. I do that to all my MOSC figures.

EDIT: Damn, joopsta beat me to it.

Oh man looks great, but I wish it was a different shade of yellow, and that he was smaller than bulkhead.

I'm surprised how accurate to the show his transformation is. I really want this guy, hopefully he'll be my first purchase.

In the recent Ep, he is shown with a silver pipe/gun-barrel/thing under the front of the car. Interesting that is the same place his stingers are on the toy.

Nice, but it does look KO-ish... I'm more excited for a Prowl review.

Cool. Thanks for sharing. Looks like his head wold be easy to replace for a kitbash, or if someone didn't like the head he has. Hopefully we get some more reviews in the near future, and maybe some more prototypes show up on Ebay (Blitzwing would be really great to see imo).

Edit: Add me to the list of people curious about this "diecast" that you mention. I can't honestly think of any reason he would have any metal in him other than screws and pins. Do they sometime use diecast parts for prototypes that the final product will be all plastic? (doubtfull imo, but, it could happen, lol). The only dissapointment of the packaging and instruction sheet is that we don't have any real "tech specs" for them. Could still be an interesting feature if they were to include a little card with them on it (didn't RID do something like that?) with the mass production of the line.

I can. it looks almost translucent, in that it appears that you can see some darker color underneath. think of the differences or issues with certain red plastic alternators, or alt. sunstreaker.

I *think* I see what you mean, but I'm not sure if it looks HOish or just looks like yellow plastic.

I'm curious, what "Die-cast" parts are in him?

Plastic doesn't look "KOish". It looks like the typical awful yellow plastic hasbro likes to use (re: alt Sunstreaker).

You say "some die-cast parts". I HAVE to assume you're just referring to the occasional pin and screw ... aren't you?

Looks pretty good. Can you leave one arm out in car mode like in the toon? If it can it would get major cool points.
