While we have no idea how TT will price their combiners yet, I agree that it’s a clever way to broaden the appeal of these figures. There are huge numbers of train nerds in Japan.

Maybe the route they are going is the unite warriors devastator route and chugified? That's the vibes I'm getting from that image earlier. I'm not getting either but I'm very curious to see how this MPG line does although these moon studios bots look phenomenal.

There was a brand when I visited when at first glance looked like the Lego logo but was in fact miniature trains and cars and shit. I was like wtf.

Yeah. And the thing is they are very expensive. I was at a Nakano Broadway shop once and saw a Mint G1 Black Zarak with an astronomical asking price, but compared to the miniature trains, it might as well be a bargain. But then again I don't doubt the trains will have better craftsmanship.

    Sounds like Tomica:

    upload_2021-10-1_19-11-19.png

    Trains
Which is Tomy, as in Takara-Tomy. They make all the cars, trains, and TF's. :)

    Takara-Tomy: TF's
    Tomica: cars
    Tomix: trains
    Tomy(core): Zoids

The current assumption is that everything is integrated.

Seeing the last picture of the first page's post, I have to hope these can connect in train mode. These look like some of the best designs by far from the parent company, as I can only really see some arm kibble on them. I'm not familiar with the Japanese shows they're from tho, so it could be accurate. I'm running out of room for Autobot gestalts but this looks like it may demand a spot on the shelf.

That and the yellow and red in the blue chest when it should be white. These are not even Studio Ox changes that have been part of the past bots. Going back to Constructor, Zeta has this need to change things that don't need changing or cluttering something simple up. They look great except for the small details.

Unless it's the price of a 2 pack, first official Raiden bot from Takara comes at around $178 USD.

Do we know how long each of the 2 leg-bots are in train/vehicle mode? They look kinda short but maybe thats just me.

According to the last picture in the first post, they are bit longer than two straight Lego tracks (the left half of the left train is on a straight track). A straight Lego track is 13,6 cm long. Therefore, the lenght should be around 27 cm, or 10,6 inch.

I only just heard about these guys today. BBTS/TCP say 4 are releasing this month and 2 in December. I can tell there's been delays, but are they still going to be releasing two at a time and not four in one dump? I can afford if they drop in pairs but ~$450 at once would be a bit much.

BBTS is just doing their usual thing. If 3P misses a release date they just push it back one month. And again and again. BBTS never seem to go back and ask for an updated date.
No way will 4 Moon Studio bots drop at once. Expect the first pair by the end of the year (rather than July 2021) and the next two pairs maybe on a 6 month schedule later.

I hope they won't. All in one combiners have to make unnecessary sacrifices for proportions and stability (yes, Assaultus, I'm talking to you). The more partforming the better, just like Zeta's Kronos!

The hands should be separate seeing as they're the same as Zeta's combiner hands, and I'd bet the head and chest plate are as well Meanwhile the thighs are made up of the sixth member cause this is basically how they did their Bruticus, just if Bruticus had 6 teem members rather than 5 and the thigh piece.

The feet will be integrated simply because it's similar to how Constructor's feet were.

I heard this rumour several times, but there`s no evidence for it. Toy World/Zeta(/Moon Studio) never used the "everything is included"-way, and their combiners were amazing, so there`s no reason to change a winning formula. Apart from the limitation this woul bring to either bot-, or alt-mode, there doesn`t seem to be much space left in these figures to include all the extra parts (feet, hands, and especially, the head),
