Recieved my shipping notification for Green Zone from TCP

 

There's 2 sets of ports on either sides, right above the shoulders, right behind the Raiden head in combined mode. You can plug the wings from both arm bots into those ports..

 

SoC Vehicle Voltron was a must for me. First time putting it together was magical because I had never seen it since watching the cartoon as a kid. Never could get the toy. Saw old expensive bad versions later in life on eBay but nothing compared to getting that masterpiece definitive version for me. Likewise, with the Lion Voltron. I came too late to get the SoC version so had to go with Fantasy Jewel. Looking at the new expensive Blitzway version there is a lot to like but I think I am actually happier with the version I have. It has everything I could have ever wanted. I would have liked the SoC armory stand but a small concession in the long run. Outside of Transformers that is all I will allow myself to collect. They are honorary Transformers to me.

 

Did the same thing. Both trains on the way.

I'm not getting this as I don't collect MPs, but for those of you that are, I think you made the right decision choosing this guy over the Takara one (if you are only getting one). Radiatron's head and trains just look better than the Takara one. Hope y'all enjoy!

 

Annnnd here he is……pretty much the same as Cool Peak in terms of tolerances. I do find the shoulder flaps to untab pretty easily. Otherwise another solid figure. Can’t comment on any other mode. Will enjoy these guys as individuals for awhile before combining them to leave in their forever state.

 

Got my BBTS notice that he will be in stock soon. Going to ship right after he hits my loot.

Lol. Poor TCP is going to be working overtime to get everyone's Stashes (including mine) shipped out next week.

I took this opportunity, with my other half of Radiatron finally on the way, to transform Iron Arm out of pants mode for the first time since I got him. It wasn't the worst experience I've ever had, nor was it the smoothest, but a lot of that was down to panels that kept coming apart because the joints were too tight, and there wasn't any glue used to hold them together. Not sure if that's a common issue, or just my copy, but he's damn solid once everything is finally in place.

 

Man, juuust too late. My POL's time will expire before Monday, guess I'll have to ship what I got now and ship Green Zone separately. I was just days away from having all four of the remaining Trainbots in the same POL...

 

And he is here. Only issue I have is the right shoulder/ arm panel does not want to stay pinned to his upper torso. Left one comes out as well but I can get that one snapped back in. The right does not.

 

I shipped my entire loot last week. Should have waited a little longer. O'Well.

 

Damn, that’s a great head sculpt! Best looking out of the bunch for me.

 

My copy of the other arm has this same issue

 

For me personally, having not gotten Cool Peak or Green Zone in hand yet, it would probably be Iron Arm. His transformation is much more involved than the rest, but is very intuitive and easy to understand, and at least on my copy, had no QC issues, no tolerance issues, and no loose, floppy, stuck, or jammed joints. My others either had missing parts, frustrating tolerances, or loose joints. I think QC will vary quite a bit from person to person, but overall the quality of materials seems to hold up just fine and I have almost no fear of breakage from any normal use throughout the whole set.

 

I’m honestly tempted to get a double of iron arm. He’s just so fun to flip between modes
