I’m late to the party on this, but I think I’ll wait for the gift set. I assume they’ll do one just like all the other combiners they’ve done. Is that a reasonable assumption?

 

Maybe, maybe not. Can never know for certain since Zeta has been all over the place.

 

I originally planned to go Takara so I completely ignored this, but the new news on the small size of the TT Raiden made me cancel my preorders. I really like the Zeta box sets with the double stacked foam inserts, so that would be my first choice.

BTW, why aren’t they selling this as a Zeta Toy? I assume there’s a store behind the brand name change. Is it just because of the forthcoming official release?

 

I would say "reasonable assumption" is correct as long as you don't allow it to progress to "assumed guarantee". I fully expect it will happen, but it would also not be unreasonable if it did not.

As far as I've seen nothing has actually been said about it being rebranded from Zeta to Moon Studios, but the Takara version is the most popular theory.

 

Probably. They did the same with their Unicron. Just another name to avoid direct attention from Takara.
