Wait, just a question: Since Monty is basically the go-to motion capture guy, does he do the motion capturing for the most of the characters, like the mooks and the creatures seen in the teasers and opening? Or do they get other people to do that and he helps to choreograph those movements?
I'm digging the series so far. The animation is actually sort of unqiue in a way. It strongly gives out a legit anime vibe even though it's not really. The characters are so far fun an interesting escpailly Rwby who I just want to hug for being pretty adorable.
Other people do motion capture since they have a bigger team of animator now. There was some behind the scenes stuff on how he does the crazy action scene in the Red vs blue season 10 DVD
Well, for the "Red" trailer only Month worked on that because everyone else was polishing RvBS10. The only others that worked with him for the trailers were the VAs and Shane (you know, the guy who made most of the MegaMan anniversary video?)
Oh Jaune, you poor bastard... The imagine spots and the landing strategy part were fun and I enjoyed seeing the rest of Jaune's eventual teammates.
It'll be interesting to see how important those two guys who were in full colour during the line-up are, since the majority of nameless background characters are featureless silhouettes. Also:
Derp Weiss. Yes. Edit: Also, they're in the opening. It's safe to say they're secondary characters to RWBY and Jaune.
