A bit more interesting than last issue, I thought.

Really dig the whole DOTM look Megs has going on. And at long last, we finally see a Quintesson in the IDW continuity. Interesting that he made a reference to the Darkness...

    And hell yeah, Sky Lynx!

    Indeed a very curious appearance...

Also "LOLZ MORE MONSTERBOTS" on the last page.

Still not impressed much by this, but the last frame of the last page was pretty cool.

We've been waiting for Quint's to show up, and they appear here? On Junkion? Bizarre. I do like Megs rocking his DOTM look though. Alright issue. Last page was fairly epic. At least Skorponok has a plan, although if the planet is in the midst of an energon crisis, why is this mega refinery so lightly guarded? Ok, so it 's in the middle of no-where, but half the planet can turn themselves into planes!

This issue was cool! Finally Quintessons. Nice entrance. The irony that the Quint is a slave to Megs :D

I'm still confused about the Dynobots in this "one shot" type of story line after Autocracy. They don't see themselves as Autobots yet have their symbol. But it's a cool take on their sub group as mercenaries of some sort.
Love the artwork and that shot of Megatron dragging his slave across Junksion is awesome!
I also forgot to mention how I love the Slag vs Grimlock situation within the Dynobots. Reminds of Ralph vs Leo from TMNT

Finally the Quintessons appear! Just wish he looked more like Alpha Q.

I wonder what, if anything they are going to explore with the Quintessons. Is this just a one off, fan love appearance or will this play a role in future stories?

I hope it will play a role. They were kind of mentioned in Spotlight: Wheelie.

Yeah I think they'll play a role in the future. I doubt they'd just randomly throw in the Quints for the hell of it.

I think it is really nice that they don't have to rush the story lines in the comics.

aGREED. I have to say, the Quintesson painting at the end of Wheelie's Spotlight definitely made me take notice and I was bummed when it ultimately came to nothing.

If this is a new avenue to introduce them, I would like it. An ancient evil sort of scenario.

Even recently I thought again, that IDWs TF comics are to me more like an aligned continuity than Hasbro's... It's actually some version of G1 but they put in other stuff from other continuitys and make it fit. Like Sky-Byte for example. And all the other stuff that I forgot.

At this moment it seems, IDW can handle anything Transformers. And that's cool. Hope it stays that way.
