I dont know about you, but I thought it was a cool chapter.
Potential origins of Trypticon, a new view of the Dynobots beast modes - which will need a lot of explaining. i.e. Where does that leave the Shockwave Spotlight version? It does not really sync with that.

And their 6th member... I liked that.

The Dinobots' beast modes here are not the same ones they got in Spotlight: Shockwave. It doesn't really outright contradict anything.

It's not going to jibe with Shockwave at all if they don't fix it and get them back to their vehicle modes. It's an interesting notion, but these events don't fit with Maximum Dinobots either. Grimlock and Slag meet up in prison and now they are on the Vanguard. Was the Prison thing before the entire war because it felt like it was during the war and they were sent there by Optimus. Am I missing something?

THe art is still gorgeous. I don't really care about the lack of clarity at times, or the other gripes that people have. These are too damn gorgeous to complain about. I love his art style.

It did take me a minute to make out Trypticon though. But I could just be blind.

The way I read it is that the tank modes are their normal alternate modes but sometimes they lose control and they become monstrous beasts.

Its like Banner becoming the Hulk. There's nothing to fix because they can still revert back to their normal forms when they calm down.

Oh, and Cybertron has earthquakes despite not being Earth? Shouldn't it be a cybertronquake?

Yeah, I'd been thinking the same thing, given that their beast modes in this seem to just be a "regular robot mode with spikes and stuff sticking out" kind of thing.

Would be cool if there were more Trypticons. If its a "natural beast". His backstory is very intriguing.

Screw Paddles! At least Slapper got a toy. Among the other original Dinobots (Triceradon is Slag as much as Slug is), Slapper seems to get forgotten.

I'm pretty sure our planet was named after the substance, not the other way around, so the word 'earthquake' is still valid..or at least, as valid as fictional robotic aliens having words for things that are Earth-born. Or using a word with earth in it when their entire planet is made of metal and sillicon. :)

Just pretend all the text in the comic went through some sort of translator ;-)

Lol, Why do they call Dinobots these names? Slapper, Slag...
The 6th member should just be called Slut.

you have to remember these were named in America and Slapper and Slag don't have the same connotation that they do in Britain. But once we got BBCAmerica that all changed. Now, Slag is called Slug and Slapper will probably be called Slipper or Slopper... or Slupper.
