I like him but I really think they went overboard with the height

 

Yeah, what's with the urge to make Megatron so much bigger than Prime these days?

 

I think it's the idea of "The big bad being taller than the hero to be intimidating" being such a huge selling point in some media.

Especially during the Bayformer movies, Megs towers over Prime IIRC.

 

Aside from a few shots they were generally the same height.

But yeah this guy is far too big. Megatron towering over Prime only really worked in Animated when Optimus wasn't leading the Autobots (but Magnus was Megatron's height cause he was) and in UT (cause Prime had super modes to even out the height difference).

 

The finish on this guy looks really impressive. I need to see a video review. Already buying too many figures this year, haha.

 

I’m fine with the height difference, dig the Animated vibe with it. What a cool and unique figure he is.

 

This is pretty awesome. I hope the QC is good. Has it been released yet

 

the height difference is pushing it, but i've wanted a design like this in MP form forever so i can handle him being a little tall compared to 3A prime. armada prime and megatron have cool shots from their respective fights that i can draw from for poses that make it look better than them just standing at attention.

plus that means a giant tank mode that will look great crushing autobots!

 

Fuckin sweet. This is what got me off the fence with TW. Prime is waiting!

Looks to be real. Got pictures of the prototype a while back and they match up height wise.

 

This will be the first 3rd party figure I've ever put a faction sticker on. Screams for it

 

And the head is way too big on that Soundwave. Looks like a caterpillar laid eggs in his head and made it swell

I like it, but would like it more at MPM12 scale.

 

Just PO'd him from TCP right now. This might become my favorite Megatron in my collection.

 

Probably scales perfectly then considering his “official” height
