He doesn't outdo them
Nope. Shatter and Dropkick are a fusion of classic designs and bay line design
This does look like a great fit in the BB movie aesthetic. Very G1, but updated. Actually looks like a seige Megatron updated for a live action movie, which I very much dig.
That would be like being surprised that a BB movie inspired anything was G1ish. Unless you didn't know it was BB movie inspired I don't really know what you expected.
I think we should have more figures like that. Most of the figures we have are just G1 or Bayverse, I wished they stopped doing just simple G1 figures and made more guys like this Megatank, G1 but with a live action aesthetic, like those XM statues. We have many figures with new designs and live action style, but most of them are just statues or non-transformable figures. Seeing something like this Megatron is new to me at least
Any updated pictures or news on a definite release date? I preordered this to go with my Toyworld Freedom Leader and the wait is killing me lol
Anyone seen news on this? ShowZ has the release date set for early July.
Why don't you ask them? If there was any news, sure someone would post it
You never know...people could be lazy. Has anyone posted the back of the figure yet?
One week left until the end of July and this figure in still in pre-order status?
What's the hold up?
Unsure, but it seems a lot of stuff that was announced a while back went dark. Could be busy factories, could be dead, could be just delays. We’ll just have to wait and see I guess.
Delays many factories implemented the 4 foot or more rule. Which set production back. They also had more regular cleanings etc. Some were even closed for several weeks. So that’s put most companies but the biggest behind on production. The biggest of course spend the most money so get preferential treatment.
Of course, aftereffects of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Perhaps I should reach out to the outlets that have this item (like TFSource and BBTS) for more info.
I work at a manufacturing plant and that has certainly been the case with us. Split shifts and materials delays notwithstanding, all the extra cleaning and distancing has helped (most of) us stay alive but has certainly increased our production timelines and costs.
And that’s the important thing. Sincerely. The lives of the factory workers are far more important than my toys.
We've seen a painted prototype already so he's 99% coming just be patient. Those 3p figures often have long silent periods of nothingness until a review pops out one day It's not the case of, let's say, Toylab Prime that was most likely killed by covid :/
Been wanting this since late last year! Here's to hoping the transformation isn't a bitch!
yeah this guy having painted prototypes and THEN going radio silent is probably the best case scenario with 3P's. that's at least a sign it's still a profitable project and 3P's are so slow that a year between painted prototypes and release isn't exactly unheard of, so 3 weeks past projected release is nothing.
Exactly. Just your regular second Tuesday of last month situation which is par for the course when it comes to 3P. I mean really, has any 3P figure ever hit target release date?
Looks like this figure has been delayed.
According to TFSource, it's new estimated arrival is December 2021.
