So, on the recent tyrade of obtaining... everything...

What do you think Disney's next major industry move is?

Edit: By the by, did you know they own all the Espns?

Disney bought Pixar in 2006, Marvel in 2009 and now Star Wars in 2012. Who will they buy in 2015?

They now have strong brands for small boys and small girls, teen boys, and older males. They need to work on stronger branding for teen girls and up, and a stronger presence among minorities. I say Disney + Oprah.

Why would they do that, if they could just build DisneyXD into their Cartoon Network? Besides, Time Warner owns CN.

Cn is one of the only forms of competitition Disney really has in terms of an opponent in selling Cartoon merch. (ignoring the Hub... because, really? That isn't even a channel. ;D)

It would just be one less thing Disney would have to worry about, and ontop of that obtain profit from, as well as please viewers by keeping things such as Starwars on CN.

Ok, so why would Time Warner want to sell CN to Disney, then? Besides a few cartoons on CW, it's the only outlet that they own, to showcase their properties.

    Keep in mind:
Disney owns: Marvel Comics and Mickey Mouse and the Disney Characters.
Time Warner owns: DC Comics and Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes Characters.

I don't see Turner/Time Warner letting go of Cartoon Network anytime ever.

Maybe they'll make another attempt at non-family entertainment and general audience films through acquiring another production company.

^ I had that thought too.

What would happen if Disney owned Wal-Mart?

Too violent for Disney. It's bad enough that Vince is going all PG and everything a lot of people think that is currently ruining the company, including the talent. Vince is doing it for the young kids he said but what he is doing is playing parent. If something is too violent on WWE it is the parent's responsibility to tell the kid they can't watch it, I mean that is why WWE is on late at night.

LOL kind of how me and my siblings were born three years apart. Everytime a Star Wars movie came out my mom had a kid (with the exception of the recent prequels) I was born in 1977, my brother was born in 1980, and my sister was born in 1983.

Yes and they also own ABC and ABC Family.

In erms of who they will own next. What if they bought DC comics? That would then combine DC and Marvel together. DC is having money problems which is the reason they scratched a lot of current projects and put a halt on all direct to DVD movies and projects. I can definately see that happening.
Otherwise they may buy or try to start a football team in Los Angeles, since we don't have one.
Also since they have their own music hall they may try to purchase a sporting arena. Staples Center will become the Disney Center, or the Honda center, etc etc etc

But other than those I really can't think of much.
