For me it's a tie between the Unicron trilogy be 10 years old or the fact that i got alot of the references in animated especially "I am Wreck-gar I dare to be stupid"

 

Any time I'm in a fandom chat or forum and people start talking about their day at school.

 

When I see BW will be turning 20 in 2016. Slag, I still remember waking up one morning before school and seeing the first episode. I remember entering TRU and picking up my first BW figure.

 

i know that feel. The first Beast Wars figures were what got me into collecting. The Primal Bat and Megatron croc. and then i realise that i've been at this game for 16 years

 

Yeah, pretty much this. I mean, it was only, like, four years ago or something I was still in high school, chatting up my teachers and paling around with my friends.

I'd say I missed those times, but I really don't.

 

I am so not looking forward to when 00s/01/02/etc. in a username denotes that person's year of birth rather than them trying to be the "first" or "best" or whatever.

 

Whenever someone posts that they used to watch Cybertron after school in 1st grade or something like that.

 

When a toy I remember as a child gets re-released for it's 25th Anniversary

 

When people don't understand Bluestreak's name and prefer Siverstreak because of his color.

 

When people say Armada is the best series cos it's nostalgic for them

Now I really do feel old!

 

Feeling old? I was in my Twenties in 1984 when it all began. You fans have nothing to worry about age wise.  

 

Whenever someone says any series after RID was their first series and that they used to watch it after school etc.

Or when anyone says the Transformers the Movie 2007 toy line were their first toys ever.

 

The fact I remember the days when Bumblebee was hard to find in the summer of 2007.

 

When someone sees one of my shirts and starts going on about how TFs are 'awesome', they're a 'huge fan', etc., so I ask what iteration of the franchise they like best...

...and they have no effing clue there was anything before the Bay movies.


Also when the 'where were you on 9/11' threads come up and people talk about being 3. Soon it will be 'I wasn't even born.'

When other fans don't know me and question my reputation, even though I've been an active member on this site for over eight years by this point.

When people act hysteric about some unconfirmed bit of "news", and I instantly moan because the same damn thing has happened over and over again several times every year, with many people not having learned their lesson, forgotten about the last fifteen times the same thing has happened, or *gasp* haven't been around the last time it happened.

 

When people talks about nostalgia, and I can't say anything. Maybe I joined the fandom too late.

 

Every time I read an issue of TF: Regeration and remember when Marvel not IDW put out TF comics.

Whenever I remember BW was once the cutting edge of CGI and then watch an episode of Prime in comparison.

When the year 2005 was the future, not the past.

 

This. Seriously it a crap series you only like it because it was your first. Hearing that beast wars turned 15 made me feel old. I remember getting a load of beast wars toys for my 3rd birthday which also premiered on it too. My first 2 figures that I remember are rhinox and cheetor.

 

When I got the BW nod at the end of Predacon Rising in Animated, while my six year old cousin didn't.
