Is this a KO of Fans Toys Phoenix or am I missing something?
That certainly looks like Fans Toys Phoenix.
Maybe they oversized him, might consider that
Somebody took the "FT IS DED" rumors seriously and pushed this out quick.
I’m down for this. Let’s go!!
looks like its fake thats just the original ft proto picture cropped
Looks like an easy prototype but all these KFT, PFT, MMT Phoenixes are tiring. Either surprise us with a prototype review or just release it.
Wasn’t expecting the image to be real since the last one shown wasn’t . But this has been mentioned several times in the past 2 months so that’s at least curious.
So would this be fifth party? LOL
They didn't QA that price tag.
Looks more like ‘Skyfire’ than ‘Jetfire’ to me.
Now, if some UL3P or 4P were to brave the dangers of Harmony Gold and make a Jetfire then I’d be interested.
Yeah they look different
FansToys new company name in 2021, they're pulling a Zeta/MoonStudios my best guess
The oh so fun result of rerecording and changing character names from lawsuits.
By MP scale, hopefully they mean it is smaller than FT-10.
I always felt FT-10 was oversized, hence I did not get it.
coincidence FTs doing a surprise ft10 reissue just as it’s molds get ko’d
Normally I'm not a fan of KOs of 3P stuff. But between Fans Toys' prices getting ridiculous and the aftermarket getting truly insane due to FT's inability or unwillingness to actually meet demand then sure, I hope this is real, I hope someone is going to start KO-ing Fans Toys, and I hope they do quality work at a good price. And if I'm reading that right they're saying it'll be 4XX yuan. Even if it's 499 that's less than $80.
I have pre-ordered the reissue, I love fanstoys figures, but the truth is that they deserve to be copied for the ridiculous prices that their figures are arriving. I do not care if it is the fault of Fanstoys or the speculators, but it is increasingly difficult to stay in this hobby ...
Yeah, I gotta say, FT have kind of brought this on themselves. It’s the same argument that is used to justify 3P products in the first place - official stuff is too expensive, too hard to get or not available at all. If FT are going to keep hiking prices, limiting their production runs and playing hard ball with smaller retailers (local china sellers in particular seem to have a horrible time with FT products) then someone’s going to step in and fill that void.
In the past FT have had the weight to push back on retailers who tried to sell KO’s of their stuff (Quakeblast) but the demand is there for FT products and someone else is going to step in to meet it. I want multiple copies of figures for various modes but trying to pick up a second Phoenix is insanely pricey and super hard. Trying to get three copies of Thomas or multiples of the full set of Stunticons? Good luck with that.
If someone can KO FansToys figures, they can write their own ticket. How popular would a good quality KO of the Insecticons be? Or another run of Galvatron or Cyclonus?
