    I could be wrong, but I don't think those are added circle details, etc. The new render/image is an x-ray and those circles are inside the wings - they are the pegs & holes that will be used to attach the tops and bottoms of the wings together.

    No idea, but it'd work for MMC's usual sort of remold. This is a Sark design, right?

    If it's a Sark design, somebody did another pass afterwards: there are no parallel lines, no hip holsters, no thigh covers, thighs have normal proportions, and chest is not weird in any way.

    Byrin was just playing with the files. He also messed with old shots of Tarn, Kaon, Nickel, the Pet, and Tesarus.
    He rendered in keyshot and added the wireframe in photoshop.

    I've only had time to skim the auto-generated transcript, but it seems like in this convo between @Byrin and @Katos toy box reviews, it's mentioned that MMC's put Solidus Magnum into the deep backburner, if not outright cancelled, because Takara released Dai Atlas. I think Byrin mentioned a Jetfire (that might have been a remold of this?), and he was proud of the work he'd done on it, so it was kind of too bad.

    Apologies for any misinformation if either the transcript is wrong or I read it wrong.

    Couldn't agree more, honestly while this might not be perfect I can guarantee it would be far superior to the takara one. That calf less garbage is ugly asf imo.
