Hmm. Should be fairly close, though maybe a little big. I assume he'll be scaled to MMC's other IDW releases. Calidus (their Hot Rod) is larger than a current Voyager class release. Rung, scaled to Hot Rod, should be about mid-chest on Roddie. So, maybe a little shorter than a current voyager? That's done strictly by eyeball, though. Measurements will tell the tale.

I'm not digging the fixed-pose hands... particularly when it looks like they're just hanging out there in alt-mode.
Not that anyone's buying Rung for his alt-mode, but fixed-pose hands on a toy like this are always irksome to me. It was Azalea's sole failing.

 

I on the other hand am thrilled by the assortment of fixed pose hands. I’ve always wished every release would come with an assortment of hands in different poses so it’s nice to see that happening for one of my favorite characters. To be fair, I think there should also be a set of articulated hands as one of the options.

 

The alternative is awkward single hinge hands on a deluxe that never look good and are ultimately pointless.

I could see him being around $90. He seems similar to Cynicus in size and the reissue of that was priced around there. However, as I say that I see there are way more accessories included. So $100 would make a lot of sense.

 

Good demonstration of how much things can change in the design phase, even when it's subtle.
