I think the TFC Ironhide is a bit too big to stand with CHUGS, though.

 

I guess Tesarus should be around 30 cm. I fine with MMC scale, Helex is even bigger.

Damn, this is finally becoming real! Probably out by, what, 2020? Looks to be a size class between Hexatron and Carnifex, which is pretty good for the two bigger DJD members. I only have Kultur of the DJD, too bad Vos has such fragile parts or I'd try for the whole set, though I may end up with these by then anyhow.

Mold isn't even tooled yet. Highly doubtful.

Zero chance. Design was started late last yeart. It will be a miracle in of itself if we have three of the DJD this year.

Personally I'll be completely happy with just Pet and Nickel. I always knew the big guys would take an eternity, big guys always take an eternity no matter who is making them or what the circumstance is.

 

I do like this thing. The weird alien-like rock crusher alt mode looks like it would fit well into a Decepticon Combiner set that I thought of- my concept was an 'off world mineral mining/resource station'

Does this thing exist in TF media?

 

Yes both Helex and Tesarus are long standing members of the DJD that were retconned in to the modern lore/continuity like the rest of them were in the well established IDW comic-verse.

They're alt modes are both derived from classic background machinery designs of older transformer comics of mining/processing equipment.

 

What other Reformatted figures do we have this year? Collisus, the Pet, Nickel, Grimlock, Warpath, Bulkhead? Any others announced that I missed?

 

Is Grimlock really that likely this year? Seems to me that they only recently finished redesigning him. It's a relatively full slate for MMC regardless.

There's also the Spartan reissue, and then whatever exclusives they'll be rolling out for TFCon.

 

That stuff and some retools are also aimed for this year. But new project wise I've no idea mmc has so so many things in some form of development I feel like any number of another 20 or so could pop up at some point.

Wow! Those are some really lame looking designs. They don't even look like Transformers. They look like they come from some goofy old anime.

 

I know this probably wouldn't happen, but I would like for MMC to do an updated Boreas in IDW colors as a convention exclusive. I realize it would probably make a lot of people angry, but I would still like those colors.

 

As long as it has all the necessary care and quality put into I can wait.
